Povetkin got knocked down by David Price last fight (the ropes caught him so he didn't actually hit the mat, but it was scored a knockdown). Joshua will make quick work of him, as would Wilder.

Price might suck, but he no-one can deny that he can **** - he's one of the hardest one punch hitters in the division and Povetkin got caught.

Neither fighter is ducking the fight. They are negotiating. It's pretty unrealistic to believe that a fighter in Joshua's position would play the subordinate role for any amount of money no matter what he said to the media. I don't understand why Wilder and team would be willing to pay so much money just to have the fight take place in Vegas. I can understand that Wilder will probably never pack stadiums against lesser competition the way Joshua does and he wants to maximize his financial gain with this one event. But his stock would rise if he dominates and knocks out Joshua the way he says he would. Let's be real, Anthony Joshua doesn't need Wilder to make 50 million. He could probably make that against a couple of bums. Wilder won't be making 12.5 million fighting anyone. It's just reality.

So why say, “guarantee me $50M and we got a fight”? Wilder didn’t pull $50M outta his couch cushion. And his investors aren’t ******. This all started because of a lowball offer from Team AJ.
