Come on bro, you can't be this naive. Joshua fighting Wilder in Vegas was about as likely as Mayweather fighting Canelo in Mexico City. That's just common sense. And what roadblocks have there been? I realize that Wilder used the media a lot to try to gain leverage in negotiations but his complaints have been all sizzle and no steak. It really seems like he's just conjuring things up to complain about that don't bear much resemblance to reality. Like when he said he's been trying to fight Joshua for years. That was just a straight up lie. Joshua has only been a name for like a year and a half. What years could Wilder be talking about? I don't think he can find anyone that can pay 50 million in one fight. And in all reality I don't really believe that him getting that big of a guarantee is warranted now. Mayweather didn't start getting guarantees like that until he became a 5 division champion with over thirty fights under his belt. And Joshua isn't nearly as popular as Mayweather was at that time. Which makes me beg the question; why are they willing to pay him so much just to be able to control location. It's an unrealistic amount of money for a fighter with only 21 fights and British popularity.

Delusional. No one cares whether a promoter keeps his word to a fighter that he doesn't promote. Why should anyone other than Wlder care whether Hearn keeps his word to Wilder or not? Makes no sense whatsoever. Once again this Wilder going to media to complain about Eddie Hearn with his complaints having very little resemblance to reality.Comment

So what’s the “strong offer” Hearn spoke of in the article? The only offer we know of is the $50M offer.Come on bro, you can't be this naive. You morons want the fight next but then ignore Wilder said the fight wont happen next if its in the U.S where he WANTS it . You DOPE !They want to fight Povetkin. Just get it over with.
It wouldn't bother me any. Team AJ are gonna look worse as this progresses. "50 million and I'll sign tomorrow". Just give it some time and Fat Dan Rafael and other will start writing articles pressing team Joshua on taking the 50 million or giving Wilder a fair deal.
Did you figure out Wilder isnt worth 20 Million if he makes 1.4 Million on average per fight ?
Anything REMOTELY close to 10 Million is more then fair and it comes with a rematch with Hearns deal in the U. S win or lose ....and he was offered approximately 13 Million as negotiable starting point something your empty noggin cant comprehend bc some article said it was that talks to Finkel . DUH
Team Joshua going to look worse how ?
By Wilder fighting Breazeale while Wilder makes it difficult to ACTUALLY make the fight and knows Joshua has a deadline with Povetkin deal ? lol
Can you get any more ******ed from the other thread earlier ?

I don’t know about that. Watching him get outboxed by Ortiz wasn’t exactly reassuring and Fury and AJ both have the better resume and smare considered more skilled. But he might. He’s a big puncher but so is AJ and he’s better schooled. It’s a good pick em fight but that has nothing to do with business.
Wilder needs this fight a lot more because lets be honest...if AJ beats Wilder, Wilder wouldnt even the best fighter on his resume. It’ll likely always be Wladimir.
Aj has the resume, the gold, the fans, the media, the money.
Wilder doesn’t offer him anything that he’ll miss if we’re honest and speak objectively. I’m not sure how the fight plays out, but Wilder doesn’t have a Wladimir like win in his pocket that ended up being (whats being considered ) an instant classic.
Wilder needs this fight badly...for every single reason.
Economic, exposure, legacy, etc. Wilder is the b-side..AJ is the gold medalist, unified champ, money maker, the famous one, the one with the signature win.
Wilder isn’t a dumb guy and I don’t doubt it gets made but lets be clear, if it doesn’t happen it’ll be because of Wilder. He’s in almost no position to say no outside of getting SUPER low balled to hell. Wilder deserves a good offer, let’s not get that twisted either and he deserves as good a cut as Parker.Comment

(A) Team AJ offers Wilder a take it or leave it $12.5m flat fee (B) Team Wilder counters with a $50m guarantee to AJ if he comes to fight in America (C) Hearn says $50m isn't life-changing money for Team AJ and everyone's waiting to hear Hearn's counter offer to Wilder that'll make him want to fight in the UK...missing anything?Comment

Do smart guys who have made 2.1 Million ONCE , make it difficult for themselves to make anywhere over 12 Million AND add 20 Million with a rematch or more if he wins ?
What do you think ?
Does anyone smart NOT jump on this which is approximately SEVENTEEN times their highest pay or do they shrug it off and make less then TWO Million a fight ?
Wilder not a dumb guy?
Well sorry but his earnings and promotion operation doesnt refect that . lol
Everything else you stated IS correct !Last edited by juggernaut666; 05-30-2018, 07:08 PM.Comment
