It's very simple, 60-40 Joshua, and the fight is in the UK! Wilder deserves significantly more money than Joseph Parker! Joshua-Wilder is more important than even Joshua-Klitschko! Let's Go!

Comments Thread For: Hearn: I Want To Know This Week If Wilder Wants The Fight

I take my hat off to Wilders team. Seems their offer was legit. Forget the details. It was a great offer.
But Hearn is right. If AJ wants the fight at home to repay his fans that's his right as the A side. If he's prepared to give up some cash for that it's his business.
This fight can be made and looks like it will be made. So relax and let the best man win.

I don't particularly have a problem with AJ wanting to fight in the UK - I think he's earned the right to have this fight where he wants. I don't even really have a problem with him saying "$50m and I'll sign tomorrow" since it was hardly a contractually binding statement. I would have a serious problem if they are still lowballing Wilder though, but we don't know what numbers are being suggested at the moment. I think the fact that the parties have both shut up is definitely a good sign in terms of the likelihood of the fight actually being made.
I believe Wilder has gone on record to say he'd take the fight in the UK, so hopefully he gets offered a fair deal and the fight gets signed in the next week.

Hearn sounds scared. He knows Wilder will come to the UK as long as he’s getting the same deal structure other guys before him have gotten. Just like Wlad Parker and etc. give him a percentage that has upside to it and the fight gets made. That man put a automatic purse of $50mill vs 50% of the revenue in front of you and got you shook once you realized you can’t cut back door deals with stub hub like you do in the UK and you can’t control the venue and the event. It’s simple Hearn. Offer him around 40%.

And that wasn't a 'minimum'. It was 12.5 m FLAT
"Hearn has already offered the WBC champion a flat fee of £8.8m [$12.5m] for the fight but the offer was rejected by Wilder and his team.
Now Hearn is ready to up the stakes with a fresh deal which he believes will be enough to tempt Wilder into a Wembley showdown this September.
He said: “I will send them a new offer.
“It could be an increase in the basic fee, it could be a bigger split, it could be a bit of both."

Hearn is gonna have to put up more that 12mil to get wilder over here
Hopefully he knows that
Get the f**king fight signed
Joshua is the golden ticket at Heavy so all these contenders want the big time coin when they’ve been making wank bank . Hearn needs to just pay these fools . Once Joshua takes wilders strap he can dictate every purse
