I don't particularly have a problem with AJ wanting to fight in the UK - I think he's earned the right to have this fight where he wants. I don't even really have a problem with him saying "$50m and I'll sign tomorrow" since it was hardly a contractually binding statement. I would have a serious problem if they are still lowballing Wilder though, but we don't know what numbers are being suggested at the moment. I think the fact that the parties have both shut up is definitely a good sign in terms of the likelihood of the fight actually being made.

I believe Wilder has gone on record to say he'd take the fight in the UK, so hopefully he gets offered a fair deal and the fight gets signed in the next week.

Hearn sounds scared. He knows Wilder will come to the UK as long as he’s getting the same deal structure other guys before him have gotten. Just like Wlad Parker and etc. give him a percentage that has upside to it and the fight gets made.
