Roy works Tarver in his prime though.
And even before the fight, Roy said he felt a 7 out of 10.

Excuses, excuses. How can you just claim without any evidence that Roy would whoop Tarver in his prime? Because Roy beat up Richard Hall? Give me a break.

well because if you look at the first fight, considering how tentative tarver was against jones in the center of the ring, imagine jones with more stamina, and not moving to the ropes for a breather. jones would win a wide decison and that would be the end of tarver, he'd never get a rematch.

No, because an older Roy still beat Tarver 8-4.

It's impossible to argue with Roy fans when they make just as many excuses as Roy himself!

Usually after every loss, every fighter is asked "what happened" or something to that effect. So any answear would then be catergorized as an excuse. Its a no win situation. What about all the times on camera Roy has said. "Eventually I will lose a fight." or "I could get knocked out at any time." Roy has said things like this before the Tarver I fight.

And his fans still couldn't accept it.

                  I didnt make an excuse.
You asked me why I think a prime Roy would defeat Tarver and I told you.
Who would in in a fight at 175 while Roy was in his prime.
                  Say...after the second griffen fight?

Anyway, listening to Diego about Roy Jones is like taking financial advice from Enron.
you gotta admit though (or have you?) that someone believing Tarver won the first fight is NOT a controversial opinion.
