True but isn't freelancing fighters going to be a whole other level of struggle & stress if he doesn't sign up guys? Would seem like it would be.
And he'll be a slave to what ABC Groups wanna put together. And he'd need to continual win bids, while also getting value which seems a thin line to skate.
Seems a bit much to ask for Hearn to do this w/o signing fighters to me, but I wouldn't disagree with you thats its doable.Comment

Ah ok that would make sense as the USA doesn't have a Network for the WBSS.Comment

Do buying live sports rights get into the figures in other countries that they do in the US? I'm guessing no so its not really THAT surprising the US is putting them into riskier grounds with the money being spent.Comment

Fair enough. Good point. I mean if things don't add up to him signing up names he's gonna have to come up with a plan B so that wouldn't be the worst plan B as he slowly acquires a roster to work with in the US.Comment

LOL nah idk about that. I mean he's a guy worth watching & has a better shot at becoming a force in pro boxing then most guys thats for sure, but Hearn needs guys who can sell tickets & generate revenue & Yeleussinov is years away from being a GGG-like guy or Manny-like guy who can be built as a foreign guy in the US who can garner fans.Comment

Last Premier League football rights sale, Sky paid £4.5 billion for 3 years. I cant find the sums DAZN are paying for the sports theyre buying up in territories though. "Just DAZN has .... for .... years"Comment

I cannot see that DAZN being any sort of success over here. Fighters should be very careful signing with Hearn. They might see some short term gain in the form of money, but they will not get the exposure they need.Comment

I'm seeing they paid 1.9B for Japanese football (fat yanks soccer) for 10 years. Which ultimately works out to more than they are giving Hearn per year.Comment

Think theyve got a bit of a foothold in Japan, see theyre up to 1.5 million subscribers in 2 years. Looking on wiki says Japanese football is the 3rd biggest sport. Gotta crack the Baseball and Sumo markets, lol at having to pay more than $1.9 billion for Sumo rights.Comment
