Ahh had much more faith in Gomez to be smarter than Oscar, but again, golden boy treating the boxing public like they're idiots with the "scared" talk and such. Neither guy is afraid of the other. I think that was made obvious in the first fight. This turd should know it's called negotiating. I thought he did it for a living, but clearly was mistaken. They're probably trying to work a 55/45 because of the controversial first fight and then the failed test. Makes sense. Lot of money on the table here, and IF canelo could win, then a trilogy would offer back to 70/30. But if GGG wins the rematch, it would be 50/50 for the 3rd. I don't see these guys fighting again to be honest. They took 3 years to make the first fight for some reason, and by the time of the next fight it would be a year and a half to two years. It's whatever at this point. Lot of other great boxing fights out there.

GGG will come begging for that 35% in less then a year, Team Canelo needs to hold. GGG is no spring chicken, he's going to fight Jacoobs or Charlo for maybe 1/5th of what he makes against Canelo. If Canelo fights Jacobs or Charlo he will sell 600k+ ppv and he will pay those guys $3-4 million compared to the $30 million GGG wants.

His toughest fights against solid C+ to B- (maybe B) level guys in Danny and Ca$h. And he arguably lost BOTH of those fights. The KD probably won the Danny fight and Ca$h did beat him outright, but Khazakh spent his whole damn purse on the judges!

Now this makes me laugh. If you sit down with the Canelo fight and score it properly, it is a very close fight, that I had GGG winning by 2, but could settle for winning by 1. A draw is also not really a poor decision either as it really was a close fight, but Canelo did not win.So if Canelo is so great, in his prime, then pray tell , why could he not beat a guy that is closer to 40 than 30 that had spent his career only fighting bums? I mean that is not a good endorsement for Canelo now is it.

Jacobs, Charlo and Saunders are dangerous fights for Canelo- for a lot less money than fighting GGG.

Nobody wants to watch him fight O'Sullivan or Lemieux. Good luck selling those fights. And it will look like less ducking the tough fights.

The only way for a huge payday, risky tho it is, is against GGG. And with GGG it doesn't hurt his reputation even if he loses.
