This is Canelo. This is his team. This is his promotion. Canelo is cheating. They're using these drugs

Canelo tested + almost 3months before the rematch never in the first before the fight and in the immediate post fight test

Venue and date would have been explicitly part of the terms and conditions, and Canelo being suspended in the entire state on that particular date means he wouldn't be able to perform his obligations under the contract, therefore the contract is frustrated and therefore void. Sure, for a contract to be frustrated rather than breached there needs to be no fault on either party's behalf, but GBP's slick lawyers and paid experts will come forth, start presenting hair tests, poke holes in the science behind the testing etc. and ultimately put forward the case that the tests are unreliable and that there's no indisputable proof that Canelo did anything wrong, and I can see the judge awarding that point in their favour.

At any rate, win or lose, litigation is expensive and time-consuming. Better for now to just try and renegotiate the original contract in order to get a bigger slice of the purse, and only contemplate a lawsuit once negotiations completely fall apart.
Under the VADA rules it's 100% the fighters responsibility to ensure they are PED free. There are no accidents..

GGG gonna line up BJS for September, then sue coke la hoya for lost revenue because his fighter is a drug cheat coward. Coke la hoya and his chica won't be laughing then, they'll be scrambling to get that Spike deal signed, lolol.

says the guy who is so afraid of his own comments that he has to hide his identity under a fake screen name.

It must really suck to live your life in such fear.

Are you going to admit that Shadoww702 was right and you were wrong about Golovkin asking for a 50/50 split?

Or are you just going to try to ignore it and pretend it didn't happen so that maybe it will go away?

dude, WTF is wrong with you? Shadow and I already put that nonsense to rest and have moved on.

For the record, I do not consider reading media reports to be on par with having inside sources. Once something is out in a credible media source, it is no longer a "rumor" that someone "heard".

But if it makes your life complete, then fine, I was wrong, Shadow was right, and now you can take some sort of bizarre comfort in that, even though none of this had anything to do with you.

Your job as Captain Avenger of the Internet is now completed.

That's something I've been wondering about. GBP have lawyers doe. I presume they were consulted before Canelo took that decision.

If you all want some true insight, by an actual lawyer, go to YouTube and search Dwyer Boxing. He is a good lawyer and breaks down the possibility of suits vs counter suits. That might help some of the debate..... he breaks it down in layman’s terms as well, for those of you not used to court lingo.
