Well, overall canelo has had more opportuties thanks to guys like Floyd and Cotto whereas guys like Sturm, martinez and Cotto have all passed ggg up for fights. All I know is that if this fight doesn't happen, there is no way Canelo will fight charlo, jacobs or saunders in Sept. Golden boy won't allow that risk to happen with that small of a reward.

I could understand the importance of this fight if Canelo had the belts and GGG was trying to become champion. GGG has the belts and a promotional team that can put up the money for the event then GGG can get the money he is looking for. If not, fight the Mandos.

No not at all! I got took to the cleaners taking Lumeuix over Saunders from Mammoth. I knew Saunders wasn't gonna tko him and figured no WAY Saunders gets a decision in Canada.

Should be GGG with the IBF Belt and Sergiy saying "Just give me my belt" but your a hypocrite so I wont hold my breath on it.

not sure what your getting at here. The IBF was correct in not sanctioning the Vanes fight, and probably should have went ahead and stripped GGG.

That being said, they DEFINITELY should strip him if he doesnt fight Derev next. (although the mando-rotation order seems to be a point of contention as to whose turn it is, Derev or Charlo)

I think 65-35 is not a bad split at all for GGG who without Canelo wouldn't even make a quarter of that offer. I would've tried to get 40% tops if I were Löffler but anything beyond that is just unreasonable in today's time, it doesn't matter who has the belts or who most ppl think won the first fight, it's about who sells more and Canelo just sells more.

That could badly backfire for GGG and he might regret this for a long time if either him or Canelo lost their next fight.
