350K Angulo
300K Lara
900K Cotto
600K Khan
300K Smith
1M Chavez
1.3M Golovkin
If he goes back to fighting guys who do not have name brand he'll be in that 300K range. Maybe lower (people just don't care about him anymore) or higher (interested to see how he looks "clean"). To get in the upper echelon of PPV he needs someone with name recognition. Not sure how many of those guys exist now at MW or even brining a guy up from JMW. Jacobs, maybe he brings about 400K. Charlo, probably less. Saunders, maybe a good UK audience but no bump in US audience.
Sure Canelo can take other fights but lots of those fights are going to entail big risks and far less reward. Plus he isn't going to wipe the tarnish off. I guess looking at it IMO the fight that makes the most sense for Canelo is Golovkin. I wouldn't agree with 50/50 but 58/42, offering no more than 55/45 seems reasonable. Especially if I thought I was going to win. A win against Golovkin is the best thing that could happen to re-energize his career.
