I think you’re making assumptions. I’ve never stated ggg is a bigger draw, I’m just demonstating they both need each other to make the biggest purses possible. There’s a large disparity between canelo’s ppv buys depending on opponents. You’d have to be lying to your self that he himself draws in 1 million ppv buys regardless of his dance partner. Don’t make assumptions, you’ll just look silly.Comment

ggg just needs to take the offer he already agreed on and not back down from the deal. Other wise I think Daniel Jacobs should get that Canelo pay dayComment

Well, for one, it didn’t keep GGG from fighting on his date and his offer is still on the table.
You can’t just sue without knowing the way the contract was written. The contract could be written as such that it’s tentative until it happens.
Canelo has never had the problem before and because he can eat whatever he wants and so whatever drugs he wants when not fighting, it’s probably not able to be proved he was negligent at all. He could say he had tacos one day before the contract, from what he thought was clean meat, but..surprise...it’s illegal, he was lied to. It’s not negligent to be an unknowing victim.
Golovkin is also not the reason he was earning that nor did Canelo keep him from trying to earn his money in May the 5th.
Golvkin still fought and thats the issue. The wilder-povetkin orecedent doesn’t apply because it was like 8 days before and Wilder did NOT get to fight at all.
Golovkin fought and is being offered what was previously agreed to. You can’t ask for restitution or damages if you’re already being offered it.
Golovkin fought, which means training, travel expenses, and what have you were NOT wasted. Wilder didnt fight and thus had the excuse.
If GGG could sue he would. That he hasnt and hasnt threatened to despite the sour turn of events shows you that the contract wasn’t violated or that there were provisions or specifics that have protected golden boy and Canelo.
Can’t claim PPV losses either because whatever % of 0 is 0. Essentially, the grounds would be “I didnt make Canelo money and I’m mad. I still fought but my market value isnt as high...I blame Canelo for it.”
There’s a reason the A side rarely is sued in sports and that’s because their legal team tends to be very thorough in the drafting contracts.
Saying “breach of contract” isn’t so simple if we dont know the contract...Comment

But again, who stands to lose the most if this deal doesn't go through.
Canelo has none else to fight. He can't stay at MW.Comment

GGG never brought numbers like cotto did. Cotto was a legit star and far larger draw than GGG is by a mile. Why he would bring that up is beyond me, as it doesn't help his case.Comment
