GGG is not pricing himself out, purses revolve around perceived value. Any other fight for both guys would bring in significantly less revenue. If canelo actually wanted to fight just to prove he’s better, he would, which is more than enough incentive in addition to an enormous purse regardless of the split. Part of the pie is still more than 0% and still more than a larger piece of another fight. He’ll most likely fight spike if this fight falls out. Horrible PR for canelo especially after this debacle.

Or Hagle.. Oh wait.. Maybe Monzo.. Shít.?
RJJ was only MW for a brief time, where he fought nobody of note.
Toney.. You think GGG could hit 250 pounds?
Hopkins' first fight was at 180 pounds.
The reason why GGG hasn't moved up, is because he started pro late. He was a grown ass man.

I didn't ask the guy to move to HW but challenge himself like other fighters have. I understand that he isn't like Krusher or Loma but I guess you are ok with his fight selection.
That really cleared things up, thanks.

Mayweather went up in weight when he was 28. What fighters were there at SMW compared to MW 8 years ago?
Jack started at 175.
Already discussed Toney and Hopkins.
Leonard moved up in weight after a 3 year delay.
Again, not every fighter NEEDS to make the jump.
