Yeah pulling in 700k viewers in the middle of a saturday is a huge disaster

We wonder why Showtime and HBO are fighting to get this guy signed at all costs. Why is AJ on Conan and Wilder is stuck on local alabama shows?

I don't know what brand of crack you've been smoking, but you should think before you write.

A side or not, how much guarantee could he be offered compared to AJ's $50 mil?
If it's also $50 mil, man that too much money to invest for a fight with very uncertain profitability.

Brits arent gunna pile over en masse for a Jacobs fight. Joshua fights there the place will be filled with Brits.

Only thing youll get leaving Britain for a Jacobs/Matchroom USA card would be NahMean storming over like this

700k? You really should research before you write. Try a peak audience of 379,000 live and 483,000 for the replay.

Joshua-Parker: Showtime's First Replay Peaked at 483,000 Viewers
More viewers were interested in Anthony Joshua’s fight against Joseph Parker than his previous appearance on Showtime. Their heavyweight title unification fight was watched by a peak audience of 379,000 and averaged 346,000 viewers Saturday, according to ratings released Tuesday by Nielsen Media Research. Showtime’s same-day replay of Joshua-Parker from Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, drew more viewers Saturday night than the live telecast (peak: 483,000; average: 430,000).

Erislandy Lara at close to 1:00am drew better ratings than Joshua.

Hurd-Lara Drew Higher Ratings for Showtime Than Joshua-Parker
Jarrett Hurd and Erislandy Lara didn’t start fighting until 12:43 a.m. ET on Saturday night. That didn’t stop them from producing higher ratings than the heavyweight title unification fight Showtime televised the previous Saturday. Nielsen Media Research ratings released Tuesday revealed viewership for Hurd-Lara, the main event of Showtime’s tripleheader from Las Vegas, peaked at 521,000.

Oh, a fightcard that was heavily promoted in the U.S for weeks, was shown in primetime involving the top U.S fighters drew more than a UK AJ fight in the U.S? What a surprise!

Dude, just take the time to think sometimes. Your head is too far gone in Wilder's butt crack that you can't think straight.

There's no question that AJs U.S debut would out do any Wilder fight so far in gate and viewing figures on the same network i.e. not free to air.

if joshua is getting 50 mil in the states, how much is wilder getting?

if both fighters can get a a lot more fighting in the states then the states makes more sense

how much will joshua get in the uk? 40 mil? more maybe? so 5 or 10 mil less for him to secure it in the uk basically, that might be a bargain to him to fight in his hometown, with his ref and judges in a big fight

This isn't some Al Haymon type crap where all the fighters are thanking him before God.

                    Eddie Hearn works for AJ
I know you just parrot everything Hearn says on IFL, but you're simply wrong. Hearn has AJ under an exclusive promotional agreement. AJ works for Hearn. Haymon is a manager. He works for the fighter. Hearn is a promoter. The fighter works for him. This is very simple basic stuff.

Hearn works for AJ. If he doesn't deliver big money and big fights, AJ goes elsewhere. Very simple. That's why AJ earns far more than Hearn for AJ fights ffs.
Ya ya ya, I know what Hearn says on IFL. But that isn't legally how it works. If Hearn doesn't deliver big money and big fights, AJ can go elsewhere AFTER HIS CONTRACT EXPIRES. But right now, he works for Hearn. Hearn has the exclusive right to promote AJ's fights and AJ can't fight without Hearn's approval.
