No offence, but I don't think that's particularly relevant.
I don't think AJ has a problem with going to the US per se, but this is a once in a generation super-fight and he wants
(a) to maximise his chances of winning by fighting at home - which I can respect, home advantage is a big deal
(b) to allow as many fans as possible to see the fight
- I think he's quite proud of the impact he's had on UK boxing and doesn't want to stay loyal to the UK fans.
I actually think Hearn would prefer the fight to be in America because that means more money for him. Hearn was generally the one saying AJ would be willing to fight in America; AJ has generally said that he'd prefer the (first) Wilder fight to be in the UKComment

Its not a big deal, thing is hearn should have offered him a percentage, that way there was no question about it being in the uk. but for some odd reason hearn said wilder wasn't worth a percentage, 60/40 was fair but they could have even offered 70/30 and then negotiated, when aj asked for that 50mil and got it as an offer that took the leverage away from hearn and aj, we understand aj is the A side but unless hearn gives a better offer why wouldn't the side giving the most money want to dictate the location? can you at least be fair and admit this? hearn got his questions answered and I have not heard of a counter offer to the 50mil.I don't see why this is such a big deal for Wilder.
After all, save one belt, he brings nothing to the table. Sure, he may be the real deal and a future HW force, but his resume, as it is, is trash and his last performance was hardly inspiring.
Perhaps he's afraid of being overawed?Comment

oh shock an american has to TRAVEL for a fight and to another country too, this is just not on, what about my judges, my food and my bed wwwwaaaaa my belt wwwwaaaaComment

Joshua literally said give me 50 million and he would sign the next day..How can you flip that on Wilder? But can you really buy leverage in negotiations? Obviously Wilder really doesn't want to fight in the UK if he is trying to pay his way into a position to call the shots. He is kind of showing a little bit of a weakness and I can understand how team Joshua would want to exploit that. And personally, I've never heard of the B side fighter paying the A side fighter to relinquish their A side privileges before.Comment

That would be the best possible outcome
Going off this interview it sounds like they will be paying wilder more money to come to the uk
Hopefully it gets straightened out soon which I think it willComment

hearn is slimey but cant be that ****** to give wilder control of the fight, fight in the states and possibly come out with a lower percentage lolz, that would be some con job, nah wilder can go back to his 1 mil paydays, simple says hearnComment

I get the impression Hearn just wants to have his name on top of the promotion
Ego booster
I have no doubt Joshua would fight anywhere it’s begining to sound like Hearn wants to be on the driving seat .
It’s fair enough to be fair Hearn and Joshua has built up a massive fan base and big bank too . He doesn’t want Finkel taking his thunder (even for 50million
) both teams have big egos . Hopefully it gets signed soon
