I think what I said was pretty clear. When has any A side fighter reluinshed their A side privileges for any amount of money? Never. They take both the money and the control of choosing the location. He didn't say "if you give me 50 mill I'll do whatever you tell me to." Wilder is going to have to accept that no matter what he says or does he is the B side of this fight. He isn't going to be deciding where the fight takes place. And it sounds like Anthony Joshua is willing to take less money to maintain his advantage in this regard. You as a Wilder fan may not like it but no fan likes it when their guy has to take a subordinate position. It's just the facts of life.

I just wished that as the A side in a fight this big that hearn would have just offered a percentage. that would have put everything to rest as far as the location. but for aj/hearn to ask for 50mil then say its a lie and it gets proven and still think hes going to be able to dictate everything else is nonsense imo.

hearn should offer wilder 40% to go to the uk, rematch in vegas, that will keep most happy, wilder can KO joshua in front of his home fans and make it a priority to try to get a half decent ref that is not totally biased, and if it does not work out he can repay the compliment in vegas with blind judges and a ref wearing the stars and stripes

if hearn does not offer 35% - 40% for UK and does not take the wilder offer then its a clear duck and he wants to milk joshua for a year or so

How can you defend this nonsense? Just admit it. AJ wants a ref that will give him a 30 second 10 count when he goes down and you know he will. He wants a ref that will let him call time outs, hold indefinitely, and award him a tko if Wilder just stumbles back a little. You guys are actually proud of those super early wave offs? You guys are proud because AJ can come to the The United States to fight Miller for a lot less than $50 mil, but can't come and fight Wilder for $50 mil? Fighting Joshua in a rematch, especially if it's on anything near 50/50, can basically get Wilder $30m and enough money to secure the rest of his life and his children's lives in one fight.

Wilder beats Joshua a second time, and he's the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world and likely a PPV fighter for much of the rest of his run with the belt (he'd still need the right dance partner to make things worth the risk of PPV, but he's likely fighting on CBS for most of the run when the timing works out).

Vegas is a stinking ****hole of corruption, as Kovalev and GGG discovered. If I was AJ, I would not even think about fighting Wilder in Vegas.

You have to be kidding. The UK and Germany have the most openly corrupt hometow officiating in boxing. The way the ref jumped on Lo Greco's back in Amir Khan's last fight was nothing less than pure hometown favoritism. The way Carl Froch was allowed to get away with every dirty tactic in the book against Andre Dirrell and was given a hometown decision in a fight he clearly lost was typical UK home cooking. Wilder indeed has all of the reason in the world to fear fighting in the UK against a fighter as popular as Anthony Joshua. I just happen to believe that he is going to have to accept the reality that he has not garnered the popularity and therefore the clout to do anything other than accept his place at this given time in his career and hopefully elevate his status with a huge victory on the road. Knock out artists usually don't have to worry about hometown decisions.

US and UK have a tax treaty, so that's not even an issue; any taxes paid in the UK will show up as a credit against his US tax obligation. Timing is whatever, but Wilder could literally have whatever money spent in the UK on taxes back to him by March.
