That was very impressive. McDonnell looked drained but Inoue is quite literally a monster

He's not beaten anyone to warrant the hype he's just another belt collector going through divisions fighting weak links.
Many will disagree but I don't see a great varied skillset. I think he's a bit of a one trick pony.
An aggressive counter-puncher, powerful with a very good left hook. I think if you take that left hook away there's not a great deal else there.
Constantly squared up, his chins too high, he hasn't much of a guard or defense just he's fighting bad opposition who aren't good enough to exploit his lack of defense and even offensive limitations.
He may overachieve with his power and opponent selection but I don't see a p4p skillset.
He's no Lomachenko, Spence, Usyk, Crawford, Gassiev, Rungsivai and so onComment

Dude, Nonito is way bigger than him. And yes unless Nonito catches him he would beat the **** out of Nonito just because Nonito struggles to make 122 now as well and doesn't have the gas tank or speed he used to. So it would look something like Bivol vs the bigger Sullivan Barrera eventually, unless Nonito knocks him out when he gets reckless due to the big size advantage. But Inoue looked small in there so you cant judge how good he is based on what he does at 122. He is already in his 4th weight class. I think he might be average at 118 but he didnt look like the next Pacquiao or anything who will balloon up in weight. He is clearly smaller than Rigo and everyone kept saying Rigo was really a 118 pounder, which of course turned out to be a lie as Rigo had a chance to enter this 118 tourney and REALLY make it interesting, but turned it down since his doctor said he couldn't safely make the weight. Too bad cuz now Im not sure what there is to look forward to in the WBSS. Who even are these other guys at 118? They should have done it a year ago at 115 when Inoue was still there.Comment

Donaire is bigger and more powerful, but not more athletic than Inoue. Inoue is faster and more agile, and throws better combinations. Nonito was more about the big left hook.Comment

Naoya Inoue wasted no time getting rid of Jamie McDonnell on Friday night in Tokyo.
Japan's Inoue showed McDonnell immediately why he is nicknamed "Monster."

Rungsivai isnt a one trick pony?? Inoue is certanly more skilled than him come on man, i do get your criticism about fighting seemingly weak links in divisions and then running off and moving up, but the kid is 25 years old and just had his 15th fight for ****s sake, in his next 3-4 fights he will have the likes of Burnett, Tete and Rodriguez on his resume...
Estrada faced Cuadras-Chocolatito-Rungvisai

Chocolatito faced Cuadras-Estrada-Rungvisai
Inoue in the entire 115th division is the only one that decided not to face these guys. These 4 I mentioned are p4p Talent and fought other P4P fighters yet what is Inoue so scared of on facing one of these guys? Why was he reluctant to unify with Rungvisai?Comment

I could be wrong and I'm not saying he can't win he can certainly crack but I favour Tete to outbox and frustrate the hell out of him. I don't give him anything but a punchers chance in that fight.Comment
