That's false. Arum admitted and is on record stating they didn't want the fight. Regis made the right move and everything a tournament that does a lot more for his career than a fight with Ramirez

Wrong Arum wanted to make a deal to have them first fight on a card together in front of a big crowed not a hotel ball room like Prograis is used to. Put them both on ESPN which is much bigger than Showtime who would have never won the purse bid....and then the title fight would happen with bigger $$ for everyone.

You have to get the facts and you will see EVERYONE wants the fight, but r8ght now Prograis would only make maybe $75-100k so his side isn't all that interested in those numbers either

So basically Prograis turn down fighting Ramirez anytime soon. Prograis went for the money and one more fight is not going to make anyone ready, Prograis can't draw the numbers to justify the purse.

Prograis would have had a fight with Ramirez before end if the year, nothing to do with being ready. You don't know the situation and you sure as hell don't know Ramirez.

AFTER Arum approached Prograis with the "marinate" strategy, Prograis decided to enter the tournament! Very good competition in the tournament! Maybe Ramirez should enter? Prograis, Relikh, and Baranchyk are in!
