His claim that he won the fight big is delusional though.
Anyone with any boxing knowledge at all knows that fight was close.
Why the hell is he denying the rematch??

.. can't believe i'm having to justify this but here you go..

Of course he said he didn't want a rematch.. at the time, his mindset was "Why try fighting him again when the judges are going to use outside bias against me again?". He knows he won, just as Taylor knows he fought the wrong kind of fight and got a lucky draw, and that it was simply the situation surrounding the fight. If you pay attention to Steward, even he knows that Taylor got lucky.. Winky will settle over the next couple weeks and realize that this is the best place the moneys at. The boxing public would be thrilled to see this rematch, and it would be a significant payday for both fighters (most definately a PPV affair). The great thing about Jermain is that he'd be happy to give a rematch because he would like to try to show the fans that he can beat Wink. This rematch is almost guarenteed to happen. Mark my words.

one thing i dont' understand is lou dibella asking for a fighter to come straight at jerman taylor so taylor can display his skills.....i swear, im surprised no-one has anything about his dumb remark, and what taylor needs is somone who is going to try and box him, he already face an aggresive fighter in winky. what he needs is an opponet who is a boxer.
you've seriously just lost ALL credibility as far as i'm concerned..

think what you want to think....after seeing the replay it was by a larger margin that i saw taylor winning, people got caught up on winky being the aggresor as if it was their first time seeing him fight and expecting him to box, so when they saw him fighting they automaticly gave him rounds that belongedd to taylor

so you're seriously saying Winky believes he won the fight and Taylor thinks he lost because...let me get this straight...because WINKY refused a rematch and Taylor was willing to have one? WHAT THE **** ARE YOU SMOKING?!?!?!?!?!
