Comments Thread For: Jaime Munguia: Facing Canelo Would Be a Dream Fight For Me

When I picked him to beat Ali, everyone was saying he was just a throw away opponent for Ali like he tried to be for Golovkin. Now every writer, commentator, and poster has him as the next "A" level pay-per-view king.
Can we just slow down and see how he handles a few fights as the favorite? I like him too, that is why I picked him. But pressure is a nasty little thing, and we need to see him step up to the plate as a champ in his division and build a brand before we really go off, don't we?
I am a boxing fan, so I pick favorites and go for them like I do my favorite teams in other sports. Mungiua has a chance to be one of my favorites. He has great possibilities. Let's see him unify at 154. He should be able to dominate that division, and still be in his mid-20's. Plenty of time to move up.

I can see Manguia vs Canelo being a big fight a couple of years from now.
This is a good story, this kid could really develop, but this post is bonkers, and needs to be called out.

No forreals though I like Jaime, I'm hoping he stays away from ODLH and stays a beast. No way Canelo fights this kid, he smacks the freckles off his face

Don't know why a young up in coming boxer would want a fight with a ****ing 2 time drug cheat but whatever.
