Yeah it goes without saying that the 50 million means fighting in the US. If the money is real which it looks like it is then Hearn and Joshua can't walk away from this offer. Full steam ahead to Vegas.

He maybe doesn't want to but when you're 250 lbs, you can't let a 220 lb guy talk **** to you like that.

It was obvious that offer wasn't a bluff. If this doesn't happen, Team Joshua have to take the blame, based on AJ's public declaration of jumping on a $50m offer.

Sorry but theres nothing real about this thread .

10 Reasons this thread is B.S

1 . Joshua never said he would fight Wilder in the U.S ____

          2. You dont put a 24 hr . deadline on 50 Million .

3 . You cant say you have 50 Million unless you can get it without Joshua agreeing to terms first .

4 . Wilder makes under 1.5 Million a fight so hes in no position to argue where the fight takes place .

5 . Wilder stated he doesnt care about money only legacy but when offered
four Million to fight Whyte he wanted 7 ...... When offered 12.5 for Joshua it wasnt enough , keep in mind Wilder would get over 30 Million if he wins including a rematch so whos actually running away from money ?

          6. Wilder refused to come to the U.K as a PAYED commentator which tells he had little intentions to make a U.K fight before negotiations even started .

7 . If you dont want to fight ,you dont give an offer in the first place . Wilder could have just accepted the offer and we would have had a fight signed weeks ago . He didnt even negotiate the offer .

8 . The amount of 50 Million itself would not be a lot for Joshua , he makes more then 2 Million a fight which is Wilders highest payday . He can generate 20 Million dollar paydays ,his sponsorships alone would over shadow what Wilder makes actually fighting .

9 . Number 8 is important bc the only one who can walk away from ACTUAL money IS Wilder , so the 50 Million smoke screen is just that smoke to make it look like Joshua is avoiding the fight . Hes simply wont give up a fight like this in the U.K hes made that clear over a year ago .

10 . We all want to see the fight but it is a FACT the Wilder fans make threads like this one bc they are the content with fake news and excuses why the fights not happening . Lets also not forget Breazeale has already came out a month ago and said he had a deal to fight Wilder in the summer ....so ask yourselves whos actually stalling this fight ?

Let us have the fight in London then but it makes Joshua look soft like he is unable to fight outside of his comfort zone. So now when he talks trash you wonder who he is trying to convince you or himself. Haha but I'm most just happy because it looks optimistic. When the articles start talking about Joshua vs Povetkin is when I'm crabby again.

Joshua certainly wants to stack the odds in his favor, which is understandable to a degree.

Wilder can pretty much only win by KO. He ain't outboxing AJ even if his family were the referee and judges. He's suggesting this can go 12. In the UK it would be for the same amount of risk of getting KTFO by Wilder for much less money.

It feels like AJ isn't speaking from a place of confidence

I think this is most likely. Hearn's dad (who actually owns matchroom) has said himself he'd rather not fight Wilder yet. Even if AJ wants it, i think he's being advised otherwise. Eddie Hearn is the frontman, but i'm sure his old man still has the real power in the operation.

They're business men. When you can make 8 figures and fill stadiums against Takam, why wouldn't you milk the fans even more rather than take a big risk? because once AJ loses, the fickle casual fanbase won't be flocking to stadiums so easily because they're not really boxing fans.

It's obvious that's what they're doing. They know despite earning big money v Wilder, one punch can stop the gravy train. I think they want a few more easier fights first, because he makes money regardless.

Exactly! They want to milk AJ a for all he’s worth. After they can’t milk him anymore or as much, then they’ll let it happen. Shame, really. It would be an epic fight right now.

                    Oh really?

So if Team Joshua make a counter offer, giving Wilder in the region of $17m, which is more than 8x his highest ever purse to fight I'm the UK, it's still AJs fault if the fight don't happen?

Hearn in his revised offer said he'd offer more money for Wilder whether it was upfront OR on the split, so why even cap the figure at 17 mill or mention 8x is highest payday or anything of the like. Its irrelevant just offer Wilder a good deal something too good to be refused. As it stands I doubt 17 mill is too good to be refused if they're talking up how much money can be made in Vegas.

He said: “I will send them a new offer.

“It could be an increase in the basic fee, it could be a bigger split, it could be a bit of both."

Counter-offer Wilder something both sides are happy with plain and simple, and if Deontay doesn't accept then I'll say he's ducking.
