Triple-G sells out the biggest arenas in the world, and if we have a proper time to promote and market a fight, nobody does it better than we do with the Triple-G fights. You know, when you can sell out Madison Square Garden twice, with a David Lemieux, with a Danny Jacobs, Derevyanchenko would be a huge fight in Madison Square Garden. So why would you want to shortchange the mandatory challenger and the champion, the unified champion, squeezing a situation like that?”

“I think Derevyanchenko has gotten more publicity over the last week or 10 days than he has ever in his career, just being linked as Triple-G’s mandatory,” Loeffler said.

    What a POS DIC!!!!

The 32-year-old Derevyanchenko (12-0, 10 KOs) is considered a high-risk, low-reward proposition for Golovkin, particularly with an eight-figure purse for an Alvarez rematch at stake against whoever Golovkin fights next.

What odds you give it then dumb, dumb??? What does GGG need then 90-10 odds to fight???

Lou DiBella and Team Derevyanchenko can do all this media complaining and can be pissed at the IBF.

But the fact is until Canelo and GGG fight none of the mandatories will be getting there shots.

Why would either team risk a 9 figure fight with both fighters (for sure GGG) making career 8 figure paydays?

Situations like this is what makes the sport frustrating because potential high quality fights get put on hold for money.

Listen I get it? But GGG used to NEVER be this guy I thought??? Avoid tough fights for $$$$???

At least that's what he always told his fans. IMO he should of Fought Sergiy. Actually scratch that sht... That was too much risk. I've seen him fight. GGG's team has also. That was not going to be easy. The risk/pay wasn't even close.
Then he will turn it down and have to deal with the fallout. He is nearing the end of his career and the Canelo money is looking really good. He should be able to fight this guy and still fight Canelo in September if DiBella cooperates and Golovkin is willing to risk it. We'll see soon enough.

60/40 only for a imbecile newb like you. If that fight ever got made ggg would be a 8-1 favorite at least.

Makes sense. What SHOULD happen is...And the FLIPSIDE to that is.

                    1. GGG signs to fight Canelo
                    2. IBF Strips GGG and make Sergiy vs. Andrade (Finally! and I don't think Charlo or Jacobs gives up that WBC Canelo/GGG winner $$$$)
                    3. IBF let's GGG (If wins) fight the winner like some Thurman sht.
The catch is??? IBF Champion vs. Challenger payout. And Sergiy WILL want it to go to purse bid... Check
