Can Any Of You Brits Tell Us If The Great Kid Milo Was Anything Like James Toney Please?

Lol, Kid Milo was a funny-looking fighter because he had a physical disorder where he was a little hyper-active and often couldn't relax in the ring. His appearance looked a little like Marvin Hagler/Tony Thornton/James Toney, but he wasn't naturally big enough to fight at middle or super-middle.

Milo was an awkward fighter, concentrated, didn't have a high punch output but had a big heart and some good body punching. I remember him being robbed on the Frank Tate/Tony Sibson bill in Stafford. Milo beat a 16-year-old Richie Woodhall for the 1985 ABA West Midlands light-middle title before turning pro. He was clearly a useful fighter in that he got a draw with Errol McDonald who was undefeated as an amateur and pro. He stopped Johnny Melfah with a body shot. But against Eubank he was way out of his depth and was toyed with, Eubank had him cut to shreds after four or five rounds but just stood there with his hands down asking the referee to consider stopping it. Benn punched Milo from one side of the ring to the other in the first 30 seconds and almost punched Milo out the ring, again he was out of his depth. I also remember him having an all-out war with some Australian guy on ITV once.

In short, Kid Milo wasn't on James Toney's stratosphere, although he was a decent domestic fighter.

Lol, benn looks like a *** with his hair like that and ear rings don't match with smart suits. Toney would of exposed benn as a guy who had **** concentration and when benn would get pissed and start swinging he would be countered with ease, then james would kiss benn after the bell to get him more pissed and to school him even more next round .

Eubank may of caused toney a few problems tho.

Hahaha JT scared those Brit ******* thats why they ducked him, i watched Benn against Barkley the other day and if he fought like that against JT he would have his ass well and truly handed to him on a PLATE!!! The clips I saw of Eu Bank he messes about posing then steps into a jab or right hand or leaps from way out into a body shot then jumps away again, does look weird to figure, i think Eu Bank gives anybody trouble but not in the class of JT or Roy on proper skill ......
