      ???
Yes he was heavily muscled, but he had superb stamina, he had half a dozen or more 12 round wars, he competed hard in all, win, lose or draw.

But remember.. Toney came along as an unknown rookie, got schooled by Nunn, then start hitting back and found a left hook. Nobody thought Toney was much of anything (until living with McCallum), and just got lucky.

True, but McClellan should have got the win over Benn. The reffing int hat fight was God-awful. Even so, James Toney is not Gerald McClellan. Toney has a brain. He would've beaten Benn convincingly, and he would have beaten Eubank as well. Eubank is no more tricky than Montell Griffin and no more skilled than Michael Nunn...he also was not quick or as coordinated on his fight as Roy was. Toney could beat this guy.

Eubank's not Griffin or Nunn (they are different people, you know), Eubank had a style all of his own and a style that gives Toney a nightmare.

                Eubank isn't Griffin or Nunn?

                Ya learn something new everyday.

Eubank's style is no nightmare for Toney. Eubank is not the 5-6-7 punch combo throwing jitterbug that Roy was when Toney lost to Roy.

What do u mean he should have won, no he shouldnt have won cause benn pounded him out, and came through the stronger fighter on the night. Gerald Mcclellan was a puncher no dout but he could box so he had a brain imo. Eubank is not comparable to Griffin or Nunn as they have completely different styles. I have to diagree with u. And give benn some credit for winning the fight it wasnt all down to the ref.

He did not have a brain. He just brawled, and that's it. He fell in love with his power and that was his downfall. Benn was through the ropes and out for 10, and any sane ref woulda ended the fight right there.
