how did YOU score the fight?? How is a fight scored 7-5 and 6-6 by damn near everyone a robbery if it ends in a draw?????

I had it 6-5 for Badou Jack with 1 round even

I'm not calling it a robbery but you got people saying Stevenson was robbed of a clear win when it was anything but clear and the fact boxing judges don't use the original scoring criteria anymore

It has to be questioned, how many fights you've seen where a guy throws over 1000 punches but majority weren't effective and another guy throws 400 or 500 but lands the more damaging shots while demonstrating better defense and ring generalship but still lost cuz he didn't throw as many punches!

They need to use 1/2 points like in Latin America. Jack's rounds were 10-9. Pimp's rounds were 10-9.5.

Is it just me or do both these guys kind of suck in terms of top level boxing? Obviously they are both way better than I will ever be at boxing, but compared to the top guys I mean. Everyone kept saying they were good so Im confused. Fight was super slow paced, Stevenson still has power but looked super slow and old, and he only has one hand, and no stamina. Jack isn't old, but somehow also showed awful stamina, and he looked weak for light heavyweight. He couldn't hurt a chinny fighter, his power sucks too but hey we already knew that because he couldn't even drop George Groves at 168. I didn't think so before the fight, but I'm now confident Eleider Alvarez would beat both of these guys, let alone Bivol, Beterbiev, and Kovalev. I think Marcus Browne would have a shot too.

even rounds are when no one lands anything or there is an even amount of distribution of punches. Most times is a cop out. Do u believe stevenson landed nothing for the first 6 rounds? Jack wasn't even throwing punches. this is not a robbery. Jack keeps getting draws in these big fights cuz he keeps fighting the same way. Taking the first half of the fight off and pressing the gas in the 2nd. If u are gonna be mad at anyone, be mad at Jack. It's his fault.

You score fights on four criteria. Clean punching, effective aggression, ring generalship, and defense. Feel free to point out the clean shots Stevenson landed in the first half of the fight. His aggression was mostly ineffective. Ring generalship points to who was getting done what they wanted. You can say Stevenson was setting the pace. But defensively, Jack wasn’t getting touched much. You don’t award a guy a round for simply following a guy around the ring missing punches. Stevenson wasn’t cutting off the ring. He wasn’t setting traps. He wasn’t doing anything but following Jack around the ring trying to load up on a left hand. That’s not winning rounds.

Exactly. I b1tch about it all the time. Nobody scores rounds even anymore. Stevenson literally did nothing in the first half of the fight. And was awarded rounds based on ineffective aggression.

Shameful stuff they're doing to Badou's legacy, this man takes on the best of the best and majority of the time the more effective puncher giving damage while demonstrating tight guard/ defense and picking his spots/ring generalship!

Adonis got blessed tonite, the ref saved him several times!

Nah man, nah. Jack had his chance, but he blew it, and he's capable of blowing it again. Didnt have the power to drop Groves at 168, you really think he's going to stop Stevenson? Time to call in the pros to get the job done right. Bivol, Kovalev, Beterbiev, probably even Gvozdyk can get this done for you by the 6th round and leave you time to go get drinks before bed as well. I suggest hiring them instead.
