You score fights on four criteria. Clean punching, effective aggression, ring generalship, and defense. Feel free to point out the clean shots Stevenson landed in the first half of the fight. His aggression was mostly ineffective. Ring generalship points to who was getting done what they wanted. You can say Stevenson was setting the pace. But defensively, Jack wasn’t getting touched much. You don’t award a guy a round for simply following a guy around the ring missing punches. Stevenson wasn’t cutting off the ring. He wasn’t setting traps. He wasn’t doing anything but following Jack around the ring trying to load up on a left hand. That’s not winning rounds.

Shameful stuff they're doing to Badou's legacy, this man takes on the best of the best and majority of the time the more effective puncher giving damage while demonstrating tight guard/ defense and picking his spots/ring generalship!

People don’t know how to score fights anymore. And you see it more when there’s a guy with a reputation as a big puncher like Stevenson. When he punches a guy on the gloves or even breathes on a guy, that’s equal to a lesser puncher landing a four punch combination flush.

7-5 either way or 6-6 is how every judge had the fight and mostly everyone who scored it. Even if Jack had Stevenson out on his feet in rounds 7-12 but lost rounds 1-6, a round is a round. There were no 10-8 rounds. Stevenson won a lot of early rounds in which Jack wasn't even throwing punches and Jack won a majority of late rounds outside of the 11th. Doesn't matter if someone had a fighter hurt more times. If it's not a 10-8 round it's irrelevant to the conversation. How did you score it?

6-5 rounds Jack with one round even!

I could make it a more clearer case cuz Stevenson would literally at times follow him around while trying to come in with the left and would get caught with sneaky shots which of.course got overlooked!

Jack could have won the fight if he didn't fight so timid the first six rounds!!! I'm glad he didn't though I wanted Stevenson to win, also Jack threw some suspect elbows. I think Stevenson should skip that rematch he would get KO'd he got lucky tonight.

Wrong strategy against the wrong guy. Stevenson has pop and can keep you honest through an entire fight - almost no matter how tired he is.

Jack literally gave the first half of the fight to Stevenson, hoping he would tire down the stretch, and Stevenson did tire but he's still dangerous and caught Jack with some serious power in the 2nd half.

I like Jack. He's a solid fighter who targets the body often. Like a mordern day Mike McCallum but he's also like Chad Dawson - often inactive as hell and wants to land perfect shots and admire his work. That's how I view him.

Not mad at a draw. Stevenson didn't win, Jack could have won but it was a close call. Too close for Jack.
