Not enough fans want to buy it and justify the $1 billion being paid out. I hope it's a success though. More money infused into boxing means more fights and more top level fights.

Fights where two top guys who aren't big enough for ppv, but still demand a large payday can finally happen like Jermall Charlo vs Danny Jacobs.

I still don’t fully understand the intricacies behind the concept but Eddie needs to stop stepping on peoples toes and work with them . For example Al Haymon has a litany of marquee fighters Eddie has a number of dates to fill. Let’s take Spence or Charlo. Maximum they fight twice a year. I believe if Al said to them to fight again on the dazn platform they will both jump at the chance. Al would be paid and so will the fighters. A win win.

Now this is a reach so go easy on the responses. Look at Loma vs Mikey Garcia and potentially a network Impasse as both fight on different networks. Couldn’t Hearn perhaps take the fight and show it on his Dazn platform giving both parties assurances of blah blah blah.

It sounds very enticing but at the same time too good to be true so I will wait for the launch and pray it is a success for the fighters sake

It’s that mentality why we always shortchange ourselves

There are three types of people in life

1 people that make things happen
2 people that watch things happen
3 and people that ask what the f**k just happened

#1 - DAZN is a terrible name for anything. I'm not even sure how to vocalize DAZN. Do I phrase it as DAZZIN or what?

If it works, sounds like an awesome idea. As long as he gets a decent stable to watch or co promotes with other promoters

Put an end to the constant PPV model for fights that should never be a PPV

Why does any start up fail? DAZN is going to spend a lot of money, if they don't eventually get enough customers, they'll fail.

We have no idea if DAZN will last 8 years, let alone whether they'll pick up the options on years 5-8 even if they do survive.

I'm rooting for Hearn and DAZN. The more money being spent by networks & platforms to buy fights, the better. But it's way too soon to have any idea whether this thing will work or not.
