Ha. Well. If nothing else has come outta this farce at least it may have alerted people to the fact that the CPB is basically a joke. I even did a little digging through the lists they release of people who had been tested and compared them with some fight dates. All bar a (very) few - even those under the 'out of competition' lists - were guys who had had fights scheduled or had fought in the months covered. Essentially virtually all the testing being done under the supposedly 365 CPB was what would have been done anyway under the regulation competition protocol and standard fight contract testing.

Exactly! Good intentions but not enough money to fund it. All the sanctioning orgs need to come together and create a program. That's the only way it'll be properly funded. Make promoters chip in too

Honestly, if I was Oscar.. I'd go smoke a bunch of coke and do whatever I do with the strippers. Then I'd buy a wide brim hat, a hoodie and a face mask, a fake mustache and a goatee, and take a trip to California. There, I would find 3 bums and give them $10K each. I'd tell them to find the restaurant where Sanchez takes his fighters. I'd tell 2 bums to start a fight in the restaurant, and get the 3rd, who's the smartest of them all, pour a bunch of steroids into the food. Steaks, or nachos, or whatever the hell Golovkin eats. Then I'd tell the bums to come back to me and receive another $20k each.

No, it isn't. Technically, you must stay in the program to remain ranked by the WBC. But they're not subject to testing 365 days a year. Golovkin told me & @danrafaelespn a couple weeks ago that he would sign up for 365, 24/7 testing after the Martirosyan fight.
