All I know is that he is Vada enrolled and has been for a long time. I am sure he will be Vada tested just as much as Canelo is Vada tested. Neither boxer will stand for the other boxer being tested less than they are tested.
Has GGG signed up for VADA/365 yet?

He's the one who said he'd do it. I don't know why ya'll keep saying he's never failed a test. This isn't about clearing his name. He said he would do it and I want to know if he's followed thru
You're splitting hairs. That's the first step in signing up.Comment

I"m not talking about the Clean Boxing Program. I"m talking about the same one Donaire has been doing for years and the one Canelo just signed up for. According to Idec he said he'd sign up after the Vanes fight
No, it isn't. Technically, you must stay in the program to remain ranked by the WBC. But they're not subject to testing 365 days a year. Golovkin told me & @danrafaelespn a couple weeks ago that he would sign up for 365, 24/7 testing after the Martirosyan fight.

The World Boxing Council (“WBC”) in association with the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (“VADA”) is proud to announce the formal launching of the Clean Boxing Program (“CBP”). Under the CBP, the top fifteen (15) WBC-rated fighters in each weight class will be subject to random, year-round unannounced testing for performance enhancing drugs (“PEDs”) and other prohibited methods in a program to be administered by VADA.

I do not know how else to interpret this other than The CBP, as it relates to WBC fighters, is a year round random testing program. A program I know for a fact that Golovkin has been and is listed as being active in. I'm curious though to know what Idec is talking about or if he has misspoken.Last edited by 4truth; 05-16-2018, 06:28 PM.Comment

That says he was enrolled for his last fight not that he is enrolled in year round testing. That's a big difference. Something that Loeffler himself stated GGG is not currently enrolled in today. Meaning after his fight ended he has not been tested. Apparently WBC saying guys ranked are required to do year round testing but really it just means you just need to enroll for your fights and even then it's murky on how far out you are tested for your fights. But in between before fights are signed are these guys tested? GGG not even enrolled in year round and canelo wasn't after their first fight yet was somehow ranked by WBC.Comment
