Has GGG signed up for VADA/365 yet?

The CBP isn't VADA 365 24/7 testing. The 365 24/7 testing in the same thing Povetkin had to enroll in after his positive test. The fighters pay for it out of their pocket and the testing is much more stringent. The World Boxing Council (“WBC”) in association with the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (“VADA”) is proud to announce the formal launching of the Clean Boxing Program (“CBP”). Under the CBP, the top fifteen (15) WBC-rated fighters in each weight class will be subject to random, year-round unannounced testing for performance enhancing drugs (“PEDs”) and other prohibited methods in a program to be administered by VADA.

I do not know how else to interpret this other than The CBP, as it relates to WBC fighters, is a year round random testing program. A program I know for a fact that Golovkin has been and is listed as being active in. I'm curious though to know what Idec is talking about or if he has misspoken.Comment

It's random testing 365 days a year and if you are doing it you are risking everything to cheat. Bottom lineComment

GGG is not signed up for random testing 365. VADA does the testing and they say he was only signed up for testing for his may 5 fight. Loeffler himself confirmed he needs to enroll in year round testing. WBC getting exposed with their CBP these fighters aren't truly tested all year looks like they aren't even tested until they have a fight scheduled. But in between fights a lot of these fighters aren't enrolled with VADA testing. GGG hasn't been enrolled or tested since his last fight ended.Comment

No offense kid but I’m more inclined to believe what is written on the VADA website than I am to believe someone with such an obvious agenda.GGG is not signed up for random testing 365. VADA website states GGG was enrolled for testing for the Vanes fight NOT year round testing. That's a big difference. Loeffler himself stated they are in the process of enrolling for VADA year round testing. He hasn't been enrolled in VADA for 2 weeks now since his fight ended because he isn't in year round testing. WBC's CBP is very misleading it's not true year round testing. Hence Canelo being ranked by WBC after the first fight which according to their rules should be impossible since he has NEVER enrolled in year round testing. Folks saying GGG is tested all year simply because WBC says so but those same folks were calling WBC crooks and liars for months during the Canelo failed test fiasco. WBC were forced to drop Canelo from rankings only because media and fans were killing them because we now know he was never enrolled in CBP/VADA in the first place. So was WBC lying about their fighters and how often they truly are being tested this entire time? Is CBP a load of crap and the fighters are barely if at all tested during the period after their fight and before they sign a contract to fight someone else?Comment

Exactly! How are people still denying that GGG is not tested year round when VADA's own website states this and Loeffler told reporters flat out that no GGG is not enrolled in VADA today but we are in the process to do so. He hasn't been subject to testing since he fought Vanes 2 weeks ago. So he isn't in year round testing.Comment

He is on WBC clean boxing program... which is, in theory, 365. In practice, it's not. They test you little when you are off season. But he was one of the first boxers to subscribe to that.Exactly! So, **** off with your lies.Comment

There is no difference. The WBC programme is based on the principle that all boxers must enrol for VADA 24/7 365 testing. Gennady Golovkin is enrolled.

Not exactly sure what that comment was about. He should be enrolled for the 365 regardless and I believe he is. As for your question about Donaire, I believe he gets more credit as he signed up to do it before the WBC even made a big deal about it. He was the first big name IIRC.

But it doesn’t guarantee you will be tested. It just allows for VADA to randomly select you if they choose to. It enters a fighter in a random pool.

Probably, you didn't understand him. Registering with VADA yourself is a more stringent. You are tested randomly and more frequently throughout.

WBC cbp is not 24/7 365 testing. It just means you are signing up to be in the random pool of fighters that can be tested at any time VADA chooses. You may not evem be tested in a month. Enrolling in VADA by yourself is more stringent than WBC cbp
