Unlike our glory supporting american cousins over there, we support boxers if they win or lose.

Great rating, well done to all involved.

No offence to Hughie though but if his surname was Hughie SMITH instead of FURY, i doubt he would have got half the people watching. There is a public fascination with all things Tyson Fury and Hughie is benefitting from that too.

channel 5 has a decent relationship with sports and boxing, its shown live mma before and historically used to show the uefa cup and strongman amongst other things, usually late at night though.

can vary but generally people pay about £30-40 for normal tv then additional £25 ish for sky sports so total of around £55-65, but some pay much more - £100 ish. Not everyone but a good portion pay for at least sky / ****** tv not such a high % sky sports.

So assuming low end - say £60 that’s close to $100 a month for tv including sky sports. In some respects this is why uk ppv is much less because the budget/expectation is higher within the sky sports subscription itself.

I agree with you on you guys watch more boxing than us. There's no shame in saying boxing is basically dead here. I am telling you Deontay is not a big name here. the only boxers that are known coast to coast (America is a big Country). Are Ali, Leonard, Tyson, George Forman then Maybe Floyd Cuz of his antics. Those names are known from kids (15) to the old people. NFL Football ( not for long) and NBA are bigger sports. I think golf mite be bigger than boxing here. It is what it is. On the bright side Soccer (football) is growing.
no usually our phone package and internet is included with our TV aswell regardless of what big 3 provider it is.. sky, ****** or BT.

but yeah i pay... £97 gbp a month for 250mb internet, 1000 channels including all movies and sports, and home phone so thats... $130 a month in USD.

Then if theres a PPV it's either £16.95 or £19.95 if its an AJ card.

Fair enough but Fury is still a prick.

That's not a bad deal! I pay $97.00 a month for three TV Boxes (Dish Network) with no HBO. America is crazy man. That does not included internet or phone
