It's a matter of record that both Garcia and Loma want that fight, that's undeniable.

Negotiating the deal is a big problem. Loma's contractual committed to ESPN and Garia's self imposed commitment to Showtime are a big problem. Weight class, time of weigh in, over weight penalties, gloves, venue all need to be negotiated and Arum certainly feels as though Loma is the A side but so does Mickey Garcia.

IMO, the difference is going to come down to potential opponents. The guy with the better options will be the guy with the negotiating advantage.

I got a feeling Arum is gonna do the same old trick, when ever one of his fighters is gonna face a dangerous opponent, Arum offers them peanuts so they could refuse the offer they say that they were asking for too much money or lie & say that he made them a good offer & they didn't accept..

Honestly I don't think Arum is scared of this fight or anything. He'd make bank off of it after all. I think he's just being an ass because he thinks that if he gives an inch to Mikey he'll lose face because of the lawsuit. The way he probably sees it Mikey betrayed and disrespected him so he intends to be as difficult as possible so that Mikey can't get anything else from him.

Loma is not scared of Garcia, Garcia is not scared of Loma. Arum is not scared Loma might lose but the problem I see is Arum is so bitter, he could hold a grudge to death. The hate he has for Garcia, he will deliberately offer a low fee cuz he is so pissed at Garcia. This Arum guy has to go.

Garcia might be a diva but this level of venom before even negotiating already says "move on, fight not happening".

If I was sued I wouldn’t be overly keen to be doing business with that same fighter. But Bob is 89 years surely he hasn’t got that long left. 6-12 months tops or if Mikey wins in July maybe only 4 months

His mad, Mikey Garcia is the only one who ever beat him in court. Not floyd mayweather, not oscar, only Mikey Has which basically meant everything Mikey was saying about Arum is true.
