This is consistent with what I thought would happen. We can still get this fight. Just expect both to fight twice more. Loma (Beltran, drained Pac Man), and Mikey (Easter, Commey). Then we get this fight either Cinco De Mayo or in September 2019.

I still have hope lol but if it doesn't happen by September, Mikey is likely moving up to 140.

You didn't read the whole thing. Bob Arum complains that Mikey, during the negotiations ALWAYS wants the terms in his "COMPLETE" favor, and it would drag on and on trying to get the upper side on the fence against him, and that already happened on Pac-Mayweather and he is not going to let it happen again.

You probably wanted Pacquiao to accept the 40$ million flat fee offer that killed the fight.

Bob Arum always complains if it doesn't go his way, you are naive if you believe what this old greedy money hungry fool has to say.

What he wants is loma making more than garcia and him of course making more than both of them. Why would garcia take a deal where he will end up as the biggest loser?

I mean for how long have you been following boxing that you still don't know that this guys is the biggest liar in the sport.

Nearly all of pacquiaos last fights were him vs fellow top rank slave, the money always stayed in the house.

True but any slight diva-ish move from Garcia, even a legit counter will serioulsy piss Arum off.

Promoters have worked with Andre Ward, Cotto... I doubt Garcia can be worse than those guys.

I think Arum might be 86 and the guy for his age seems to be in great health physically and cognitively , his regiment probably consists of smoking weed , drinking unicorn tears and having blood transfusions with new born babies. I wouldn’t be suprised if he has at least another 5 good years in him

Loma is not scared of Garcia, Garcia is not scared of Loma. Arum is not scared Loma might lose but the problem I see is Arum is so bitter, he could hold a grudge to death. The hate he has for Garcia, he will deliberately offer a low fee cuz he is so pissed at Garcia. This Arum guy has to go.

Garcia might be a diva but this level of venom before even negotiating already says "move on, fight not happening".

Usually I say this guy ain't scare of that guy & vice versa, but its the promoter who's scared of his guy losing. But in this case I don't believe that. I think Bob has mucho respect for Loma & what he can do & thinks he wins, but Bob is ODing on crotchety old man-ness so this dude is holding grudges longer then the average pet dogs lifespan about the most basic of things.

Randomly there was a really good podcast interview with Bob & Michael Woods on Talk Box last week. Definitely an eye opening Bob interviews. He talks about how he didn't wanna f#ck Marilyn Chambers back in the day despite maybe an opportunity to do so. Plus he's got a book coming up...hopefully it'll be a no bs book & he'll talk about where some of the body's are buried.

Arum was asked before the fight, and he said "Beltran is the obvious target." He doesn't want to negotiate with Mikey, and Mikey ain't gonna come cheap because of how many times Arum was robbing him in the past! Sad! Mikey should fight Easter, and then go to 147 and give it a try!
