Loma Should Fight Mikey, but could we praise him for two seconds?

I love Loma, but never liked Linares one bit. The praise for Linares always confused me.

Lomachenko has 11 fights, 3 legit very good wins (Rigondeaux, Russell Jr, Walters), and two other top 10 wins in Sosa and Martinez for a total of 5 wins versus top 10 fighters. This is almost 50% of his resume consists of good wins, which is a high percentage of top 10 wins.

I'm not interested in Lomachenko vs Linares or Beltran, I want Lomachenko vs Mikey, Easter, Pacquiao and Crawford.

Lomachenko could end up with the best ever 'under 20 fight' resume at this pace.

I've always praised Loma, but sorry, no one is going to make me feel guilty or feel like a "Loma hater" just cause I think Linares ain't much. I'm not gonna change my opinion on Linares just cause a fighter I liked beat him. Linares resume is littered with absolute garbage. ****ing no, he's not good at all. His top wins are laughable to say the least. He's not even the best fighter Loma has beaten at all.

He's not the best, but with Loma giving up more than 10% of his bodyweight, it is still a very solid win.

Odds are great at showing the publics opinion. The reason Linares odds improved is because nobody believed he would win, even 5 or 6 to 1 they weren't persuaded to take a chance. Lomachenko was expected to easily win. It was a very close fight. Now Lomachenko was either overrated or Linares underrated. We can see from Linares resume while being a good fighter he's no great. So the conclusion is Lomachenko was overrated by the fans. People just have a hard time admitting they were wrong and spin things to avoid it.

It's possible for 90% of people to expect a fighter to win and it not meaning the fight is an easy fight.

I'm sure most knowledgeable fans knew it would be a tough fight but you'd have to favour Loma going in.

No. What would make you think that? Lomachenko was struggling against a big underdog, a fighter he was supposed to beat easily. This is evidence of his ability. I'm sure fans of his would love to be able to delete what come before but that's just not possible.

No. What would make you think that? Lomachenko was struggling against a big underdog, a fighter he was supposed to beat easily. This is evidence of his ability. I'm sure fans of his would love to be able to delete what come before but that's just not possible.

His fans may also want him to continue blowing through top competition without breaking a sweat, but it doesn't really work that way. All fighters have tough fights...he found a way to win, and win decisively.

In this day and age you could say a lot of fighters are overrated (Spence, AJ, GGG, Crawford) so I can't really disagree.
Lomachenko is human all boxers are and all boxers can be beat nothing will ever change that.
Out of all the guys I put in bracket I'd say Lomachenko resume is better than the lot of them and it could be further improved If he does get a fight with Mikey Garcia who is another excellent fighter.
