Both fighters tonight proved to me what I thought going in, that they are both top of the line fighters in this game and excellent champions. Mad respect to both men and thank you for a great fight tonight

      Linares...
      • Bigger man
      • Height advantage
      • Reach Advantage
      • Naturally stronger for that weight class advantage
      • Longer time in the pro-ranks so thus experience advantage

      Anything else I'm missing?

Linares does deserve props, but this was against a fighter smaller than him this was essentially Loma Vs. Rigo, but roles reversed Loma is the much smaller guy, but the difference here is Lomachenko is the one outsmarting the guy who has nearly every physical advantage!

Arum said it, this is the most talented fighter he has ever promoted in his 50 odd years of being in the game and that includes guys like Muhammad Ali the GOAT that he promoted it's a bold claim.
God forbid Lomachenko tries to go to 140lbs and actually wins another title it might just have some certain people on here phoning the suicide hotline.

You're missing that Linares was a 7/1 underdog and Loma was expected to win easily. Was Loma an underdog against Rigo?

Betting odds aren't always a good way to look at a fight, Lomachenko is a very highly hyped fighter so it was kinda obvious he would be favourite.
More cash going on Lomachenko results in Linares odds being improved works that's just the way it works there are plenty of times the bookies have got it completely wrong.

Odds are great at showing the publics opinion. The reason Linares odds improved is because nobody believed he would win, even 5 or 6 to 1 they weren't persuaded to take a chance. Lomachenko was expected to easily win. It was a very close fight. Now Lomachenko was either overrated or Linares underrated. We can see from Linares resume while being a good fighter he's no great. So the conclusion is Lomachenko was overrated by the fans. People just have a hard time admitting they were wrong and spin things to avoid it.

You need to listen to Loma fans, we were giving Linares respect before the fight, and now, will give him even more.

Basically, once a poster makes it their thing to hate on a particular fighter, they become totally worthless, as a poster and as a human being. Ignore them.
Linares is not a bum but I dont think anyone picked him to win. I know I didn't and it's documented. I knew he had the power to hurt Lomanchenko and he hurt him bad in the 9th but he didn't press the action. After that combo, Lomachenko probably didn't throw 20 more punches the rest of the round

Lomas a beast man. I love to watch the man fight. I cant go for him over Mikey but to be honest I kinda favor him over Mikey.

I think it's 50/50. And I think Loma is willing to fight him. However, I doubt that will be next. I'm betting Beltran is next.
