Nothing about his skill set is impressive. No power, No ring generalship, No game plans. The only thing decent about him is he's alittle fast. He makes too many mistakes to beat Mikey.

loma overcame a size disadvantage to beat a game linares who looked very sharp
the round previous to the ko linares threw way more punches and even though he won it clearly , he may have been feeling the after-effects of that round the subsequent round.

Exactly. If he's that bad, then he's still better than everybody else. Must be the weakest era in history.
Respect to Loma, p4p number 1

Loma looked way undersized for 135.
I found some highlights on youtube and I agree with the 2nd part. While I love Loma's ambition, I fear he may be pushing it too far. Garcia is stronger, sharper, and fresher than Linares. I don't think it's a good fight for Loma.
Also, Loma just doesn't look big enough for the division. I guess he feels there's no good fights at the lower classes but I'd hate to see him compromising himself.
Then again, Pac went up to 147 and made a legend of himself so maybe Loma should just go for it and take on everyone at 135.

Hoping loma goes after mikey Garcia. Garcia got tons of hype for beating broner lol. Loma to be the next Mexican killer.

Boxing fans I swear haha. Some of you guys want Loma to go up and up and up. Remember the people wanting Floyd to go up and face GGG? I mean my dudes there are weight classes for a reason. I wanted Floyd to stay in his zone and not go up. Just like I wanted Rigo to stay in his lane, and GGG as well now.
Why can't we have champs reign in their weight division that is most natural? Otherwise you get the issue of the fighter just being at such a natural disadvantage in their body frame. Height, natural weight and arm reach all play a big factor.
I understand this is boxing so of course fans get riled up I totally understand but cmon you just want Loma to be at such a huge disadvantage until he loses. One day people will want him to go up and face Deontay Wilder or Aj.
He got knocked down and all the sudden he got exposed? Mmmm... what about when Ward got knocked down by Kov was Ward exposed? No. I'm all about heated discussion in boxing, it is entertaining... but don't in one hand condemn Loma for getting knocked down and then awhile ago talk about how great Rigo was for moving up in weight and losing. Essentially throwing him on the cross yourself. Can't have it both ways. Hats off to Linares and Loma - wonderful and classy fighters and great fight!!!

I saw Loma's leg shake after one of those check hooks and then boom the right hand landed and Loma went down. I thought Linares' size advantage showed up big time in this fight. I had it dead even before the stoppage. Loma won his rounds bigger but Linares landed some real body shots early and obviously the 10-8 round had him close as well. Loma really impressed me by digging in and getting this stoppage. He really looked like he was wearing down in the corner before the 10th round. He showed the heart of a true champion. If you just listened to the top rank commentary you would think Loma was dominating but this was a really tough fight for him. He was clearly a featherweight in with a lightweight and thats what it looked like in there. Linares isn't a big punching lightweight but he clearly had the heavier punch. I was really impressed that Loma kept on the gas pedal against the larger man and was able to get home with that perfect body shot to end the fight. You gotta give it to Loma for finding a way to win. He seemed like he would run away with the fight on points early because Linares was just trying to time him and wasn't wasting energy throwing at air. Linares was really making his punches count and he presented a real KO threat. Loma showed next level grit tonight. This was an amazing fight!
