It's important because if he fights Garcia or someone like him, he already got caught and someone smart like him, won't let it happen so easy again. So calm your ****, i understand that you're just looking for anything to grab on to, so you can talk *****, which is pathetic.
I didn't expect he would have such a weak chin. He did walk into such a strong straight tho, so i can't really tell if his chin is that weak.
Mikey's got a really good straight right hand and he times it really well but I agree with you. I don't see Vasily getting caught with a straight right like that again.

      • Brilliant fight. But it's ironic that the first fighter to be competitive with Loma post Salido gets KOd with a single body shot... Makes you pity the guys who don't do as well as Linares did. It didn't look like a fluke though. I think Loma would've overwhelmed Linares anyway, if not with that body shot then later in the championship rounds.

Just got this hunch that Loma will **** that body to submission
Would love to see Linares win ( imagine the shakeup in the rankings and the p4p )
As a betting man though , will put my coins on Loma with a late stoppage due to body shots

          Nice prediction

I saw Loma's leg shake after one of those check hooks and then boom the right hand landed and Loma went down. I thought Linares' size advantage showed up big time in this fight. I had it dead even before the stoppage. Loma won his rounds bigger but Linares landed some real body shots early and obviously the 10-8 round had him close as well. Loma really impressed me by digging in and getting this stoppage. He really looked like he was wearing down in the corner before the 10th round. He showed the heart of a true champion. If you just listened to the top rank commentary you would think Loma was dominating but this was a really tough fight for him. He was clearly a featherweight in with a lightweight and thats what it looked like in there. Linares isn't a big punching lightweight but he clearly had the heavier punch. I was really impressed that Loma kept on the gas pedal against the larger man and was able to get home with that perfect body shot to end the fight. You gotta give it to Loma for finding a way to win. He seemed like he would run away with the fight on points early because Linares was just trying to time him and wasn't wasting energy throwing at air. Linares was really making his punches count and he presented a real KO threat. Loma showed next level grit tonight. This was an amazing fight!
Great post. Admittedly, i was shocked with how easily he was being hit tonight.

Called a stoppage but the fight was much more competive than I assumed.

Eating crow for clowning Linares. He fought like a champ.

            • wait guys lol.

Does this mean mickey garcia has a weak chin also? I remember him getting put on the canvas from roman martinez by a right straight.

              • Honestly Mikey conquered 126 easier then loma did taking on Lineal champ Salido after Salido had upset Juanma. Beat him easy and knocked him down 4 times with 3 in the first 2 rounds. Loma then loses to Salido in his next fight. Mikey then moved to 130 and beat lineal champ Rocky Martinez at the time by one punch body KO. He had a dispute with Top Rank took 2 and half years off and moved up in weight and beat 2nd rated best champ at 135 by one punch KO having a much easier time in his third weight class then Loma coming off a layoff. Mikey still belonging at 130 then beats a much bigger Broner and moves up to his 4TH weight class and knocksdown a champ and former kickboxer who use to take kicks to head down for the 1rst time in his life, He was also the best champ at that weight since Crawford recently vacated. Let me get this straight most people have Loma rated #1 p4p and Mikey top 8 or 5? White and Blacks are being biased without a doubt and the facts show people are hating or praising 1 guy to much. Loma was losing to Linares or winning by 1point.

Same here!... I could only watch the last two rounds.

Loma looked way undersized for 135.
