Actually, Duva didn't want to risk losing the HBO contract so hence the Kov/Superman fight fizzled. But no matter, if Kovalev and Stevenson both get by their fights upcoming, then it would be a perfect time for the two to unify. And I doubt many would have a problem with a fight like that.

Stevenson hasn’t been ducking Alvarez at all. Both fighters are under contract with GYM. They are GYM’s most prominent fighters at the moment. One is a champion and the other is undefeated. Why in the world would GYM want these guys to face each other? That would be a ****** decision. The outcome would either be one is no longer champion or one is no longer undefeated. It’s a loose loose situation for GYM. Duva and Kovalev who couldn’t do a good business deal to save their lives obviously don’t understand this.
