just watch one of his fights. He is alright, but didnt really impress me. still fights with an amateur style. I dont think he has developed man strength yet, doesnt look physically strong. Has ok pop on his right straight, but other than that rather average puncher. Good speed and quickness, but does a lot of unnecessary movement and doesnt have the best balance to get leverage on his combinations.

They still need to develop him a lot, maynard could be a dangerus step up.
Maynard did ok against Beltran, but couldnt handle beltrans physicality.

Agree with most of this. Lotsa unnecessary movement which you notice real quick with him. I don't know if he don't know that he's wasting movement or he's trying too hard to confuse his opponent or something & no ones pulled him aside yet about this sorta thing. Didn't see "man strength" either, he's gonna be going the distance a lot vs the top 20, top 10 guys if he ever gets to that point.

Manard is for sure a live dog here or maybe even the favorite I haven't seen the odds on this one yet.

Of note Devin hasn't really been hit yet. The one thing Manard can do is hit. I think there is a fair chance Manard touches Devin & thats a wrap. If you betting on this one Manard by KO is probably the bet you wanna make.

5dimes has Haney a -1350 favorite to Menard's +650 today.

Menard is FOR SURE the bet with those odds. Haney hasn't been with anyone as good as Menard or been hit by anyone who punches hard + has been out of the ring for 6mos which for a young active fighter might give him some ring rust in what might be the longest layoff in his competitive boxing life.

That said no telling how serious or not Menard has been taking things recently & its not like he's not a limited boxer that could get exploited vs a guy with the movement of Haney.

Should be an interesting one doe. Looking forward to this one a lot.
