Hearn IS serving two masters. But I guess we’ll see. But I stand by what I said.Comment

I don't suspect he will be for long. I don't see how its possible. Someone is getting downgraded & if Dazn is for real I don't see how its not Sky. Or at it'll be a Dazn gots first option & then SKy gots leftovers or something or some sort of middle ground that can be debated by others more in the know then me.
Or are those 16 fights on Dazn gonna be shown on SKy to so they are already working together kinda sorta. I guess I'm not super clear on that.Comment

I think ultimately Joshua knows he's gonna have to cross the pond to make his maximum money. I don't think he's under any delusion. He does seem to respect & care for the UK fans & I suspect he'll look after them & do UK fights for the rest of his career, but he'll do US fights to cuz MONEY wins the day almost always in these situations.
If for some reason Joshua doesn't fight in the US its one of the biggest lighting money on fire situations in all of boxing history probably. Cuz there is too much to be gained & not THAT much lost by coming to the states.Comment

He can’t downgrade Sky next year. And according to Hearn, those 16 shows will be on Sky.I don't suspect he will be for long. I don't see how its possible. Again, Joshua isn’t going to DAZN. Hey, I’ve been wrong before. But that’s what I feel.Comment

And that’s why Hearn is separating himself from the situation by repeatedly pointing out that the US offer is good, we’re strongly considering it, but JOSHUA wants the fight in the UK.I think ultimately Joshua knows he's gonna have to cross the pond to make his maximum money. But what’s interesting is that Joshua is saying stuff like, the fight is almost done, I don’t want Povetkin, we’re just deciding on who is broadcasting...
Interesting. We’ll see what Joshua decides to do as far as the re-up with Hearn.Comment

Okay so there is a sharing situation going on with Sky/Dazn.
I suspect the BIG November show Hearn is speaking of is Wilder vs Joshua or Joshua vs whoever he ends up fighting.Comment

It's effectively a Sky/DZN partnership. They will both show Eddie's 20 UK dates and 16 US dates. Its going to be interesting to see how the other broadcasters respond given Eddie will show the full card. Every young upcoming fighter will want to be on to get TV exposure.I think ultimately Joshua knows he's gonna have to cross the pond to make his maximum money. I don't think he's under any delusion. Yup. And it won’t be on DAZN—if it happens.
In fact, the only thing we know for sure about DAZN is that Joshua isn’t part of that agreement.Comment

If it happens in the UK next, then the Matchroom deal comes into play, thats what hes talking about "broadcasting". If DAZN want to make a statement theyll bid huge to take it, to make a statement. Thats where broadcasting issues come in now. Theyll never get a Canelo fight, Joshua/Wilder is a statementAnd that’s why Hearn is separating himself from the situation by repeatedly pointing out that the US offer is good, we’re strongly considering it, but JOSHUA wants the fight in the UK.
