Based on the fact that DAZN is just breaking into the US market and doesn't have much in the way of other sports that would interest most American viewers atm, I'm guessing the price point will be less than $20. Gonna say it probably comes in around 10 bucks at the start, if not a little less

He won't put aj near wilder nor will he pay him a decent fee to fight without signing.
Hearn will look to keep aj safe with his fights for a few years if wilder doesn't sign.
Hearn will start to talk about the bigger picture and how everything's exciting and wilders not doing enough...
It's all smoke and mirrors to duck wilder or sign him up as Hearn knows wilder will take Joshua out...
Whoever has wilder will run the game. Hearn knows this..
So he's gonna try and shut wilder out to devalue him or sign himself, this deal will be his platform

Thing is, Eddie's already achieved more in his 6 or so years promoting than you have in nearly 40! And it's easy to see why. Eddie's better than you Frank, much better. He beats you in literally every department… roster, matchmaking, promotion, event execution, crowd size, atmosphere, tv shows, the list goes on… his product is better because he knows how to entertain the whole spectrum of boxing fans, from casual to hardcore.
In fact, if I were to compare your respective promotional operations to the movies, I'd have to say that Eddie is the Hollywood of British boxing promotion. And you Frank? You're the Pinewood.
Yes, you were the Don King of British boxing promotion once, and like the king, you perhaps expected your throne to pass unchallenged some day to one of your sons. But remember, you stole the throne from the old royals (Duff/Astaire/Levine), so is it any surprise that the same throne was usurped (along with half your stable) by an upstart car salesman?
You say the Matchroom/DAZN deal won't last 24 months, maybe not even 12 months. Well I reckon that deal will last far beyond the day BT Sport have ditched your sorry arse. Do yourself a favour Frank and let it go. Living in a perpetual state of saltiness can’t be doing your health any good can it?

I was just looking at their Premiership football coverage. It differs slightly from country to country, but you can pretty much watch any game on any given weekend (3pm kick offs that aren't usually televised). That's more coverage than we get in the UK.
They must make a pretty penny from that alone, as the Premiership has fans all over the world.

You're the only person actually asking an intelligent question.
I've worked in the Media since 2002 and i can guarantee you that this is going to be a complete and utter Flop of massive proportions.
It also won't last longer then 24 months at the most and is not worth even close to the 1 Billion thats been reported but the ****** ignorant idiots on this site lap it up like the idiots who lap up the same BS from that other liar Trump.
DAZN isn't going to get enough people to subscribe with the likes of Spence, Charlo brothers, Wilder, Broner and Thurman...No one cares about them.
Dazn is going to produce complete rubbish tv programs that no one is going to care about and the whole thing is going to be a big bust.
This isn't some speculative opinion...i know it won't work.
Oh and its not 1 Billion you idiots who believe that!

if you paid for the full year, youre effectively paying the price of 4 PPV's on current tv networks but DAZN will be showing alot more than 4 PPV worthy fights per year.
Say theres only 4 PPV's in a year or that want to see... you can subscribe to DAZN for those months in which they fall and pay $80 altogether to watch all of those... or you can stay locked in your minimum term cable network contract and pay exorbitant ppv prices on top of those for the fights you wana see.

For anyone who hasn’t seen it, sky sports have also announced they will be showing the 16 US fights live in the UK. So this will bring even more money to the table, but also significantly reduces the risk to matchroom because hey effectively have two different parties in callaboration. Should be really good news for American fans in particular if I’m honest, but I’m quite happy from uk side as will give extra 16 fight nights per year .
I like there idea of have 12 normal nights and 4 ppv equivalents but not actually being ppv, the Simon guy likened it to the wrestling main events. They are really trying to take it to the next level. I don’t know how successful they have been in other countries but they mentioned japan and Germany as there initial launches several years ago. I suspect these sort of countries are part of the reason they can offer the value as I presume they probably get the fights also?

A promoter known to put on live crowd pleasing events, with the backing of a massive wod of cash, offering you the opportunity to have 16 shows, with all the provisions to have some of those as PPV and/or noteworthy quality.
You can have all of this, all 16 shows for the price of 4 PPV shows at your current rates.. with the option to just buy the service as and when a fight you wana see is on and then cancel it or not bother with it when there isnt something to your liking?
And some in here are STILL being negative towards it..
" i dont see how it'll work"
" they wont compete with x or y "
no.. it wont and no they wont, if the above continues because fans like you preaching the above will gladly sit and pay exorbitant prices for what you know, even though its a ****ing rip-off.
You add that the deal doesn't include Anthony Joshua and likely won't include Ward-Bellew or Khan-Brook, and what are we really talking about here. Katie Taylor building her resume and UK Olympians getting built towards British and Commonwealth titles against folks we'd barely even heard of.
