The WBSS is paying big money to the fighters taking part. Quater-finalists got around $1miilion each, semi-finalists 2.5million, and the 2 finalists will be sharing $8million or more.

So basically 8 million dollars(1 +2.5 + 4) total if groves comes back and wins the tournament. I mean if you really think about it that's not a lot for 3 fights. That's 2.6 mil for each fight. If I was him I would rest up and do a degale rematch or another big fight.

Wasn’t there a 50m total prize pool? I thought the winner was walking away with like 20m or something(20m total for all 3 fights)
