That's more than Groves would make for 3 fights against anybody not named Carl Froch, and a hell of a lot more than Callum Smith could make against any of the other SMW champions.

it says the price money for the whole 168 tournament is just under 20 mio pounds, not for the winner alone.

and sponsorships and tv money are not added to the purse.

So basically 8 million dollars(1 +2.5 + 4) total if groves comes back and wins the tournament. I mean if you really think about it that's not a lot for 3 fights. That's 2.6 mil for each fight. If I was him I would rest up and do a degale rematch or another big fight.
