So Chris Eubank will reclaim his IBO belt and win the tournament and fight degale or rematch groves. Not bad for this kid. But he needs a new trainer. If I was him I would move down to 160lb.

Callum and E.U bum jr. earned every penny no doubt, if the WBSS keep paying these domestic bums these kinds of figures they will be bankrupt soon enough.

Well, at least the winner gets a boat load of money and a shiny trophy.... not sure how much it would do for thei world title ambitions though.
Smith fights 3 mediocre guys in a row and wins the lottery, what a lucky bastard.

Dirrell turned down a place in the tournament and has had a poor year. Other SMW's like Benavidez and Ramirez have had low key fights while the tournament has been on-going.
DeGale has been injured, so I suppose he was out either way.
I think the guys entering the tournament made the right choice for sure, the money was pretty nice.

James Chunky is two time IBF 168 champion now, Benavidez is the youngest in history to win the WBC 168 championship of the world; unlike this fraud Callum Smith he went for it! same as 'Chunky' coming to America for the second time. RESPECT!
E.U bum jr. was exposed in this tournament! Brahemer got screwed from advancing! he should be fighting Callum not E.U bum jr! great move by pampered Brits that dont want to step up tho.

It's a pity Zurdo and Benavidez didn't want that work. It would have been interesting to see how they shaped against opponents who fought back.Last edited by kafkod; 05-09-2018, 12:59 PM.

I'm proud to say as an American that we don't watch or support mediocrity.
