So Chris Eubank will reclaim his IBO belt and win the tournament and fight degale or rematch groves. Not bad for this kid. But he needs a new trainer. If I was him I would move down to 160lb.

The WBSS is paying big money to the fighters taking part. Quater-finalists got around $1miilion each, semi-finalists 2.5million, and the 2 finalists will be sharing $8million or more.

            I'm celebrating for them!

Callum and E.U bum jr. earned every penny no doubt, if the WBSS keep paying these domestic bums these kinds of figures they will be bankrupt soon enough.

Well, at least the winner gets a boat load of money and a shiny trophy.... not sure how much it would do for thei world title ambitions though.

Smith fights 3 mediocre guys in a row and wins the lottery, what a lucky bastard.

Yep, the WBSS is where I would of been heading if I was a SMW.

Dirrell turned down a place in the tournament and has had a poor year. Other SMW's like Benavidez and Ramirez have had low key fights while the tournament has been on-going.
DeGale has been injured, so I suppose he was out either way.

I think the guys entering the tournament made the right choice for sure, the money was pretty nice.

Speaking of the clowns that had something to say way back when, Hello!

James Chunky is two time IBF 168 champion now, Benavidez is the youngest in history to win the WBC 168 championship of the world; unlike this fraud Callum Smith he went for it! same as 'Chunky' coming to America for the second time. RESPECT!

E.U bum jr. was exposed in this tournament! Brahemer got screwed from advancing! he should be fighting Callum not E.U bum jr! great move by pampered Brits that dont want to step up tho.

Lol, this is not America we're talking about, the WBSS is making tons of money in countries where people actually care about boxing.

It's a pity Zurdo and Benavidez didn't want that work. It would have been interesting to see how they shaped against opponents who fought back.

Jesse Hart ( Zurdo's leftovers) would of gone all the way if CALLUM SMITH and EUBANK Jr. got to the finals, Porky Medina and Ronald Gavril ( Benavidez leftovers ) are way better then the bums that joined this euro infested tournament! Avni Yildirim? Jamie Cox?! wasn't he just KO against last week? these guys are rubbish sparing partners!

I'm proud to say as an American that we don't watch or support mediocrity.
