It's a no win situation for Miller, he wins he just beat a novice, he loses, his career goes down the crapper for losing to a novice. Miller is inline for a shot at Joshua if we are to believe Hearn why would he risk a big payday to take on a fight that brings him nothing.

Joyce is himself in a tricky situation. He wants to step up to contender level now, but unless he can provide someone with a big enough payday to warrant fighting him, he's going to struggle to find a decent opponent and quite frankly he hasn't been a pro long enough or had enough fights to really build any hype around him to draw in the British public.

Miller isn't getting a Joshua fight any time soon. Joshua has a mandatory in Povetkin and a unification with Wilder. So in the mean time, Miller should face Joyce and not all the stiffs that he's fought thus far.

Miller won't be getting a shot at AJ any time soon. AJ has Povetkin as a mandatory and Wilder in a unification.

I don't blame Miller he's looking to land bigger fights than Joyce. What credit would he get for beating a guy with only four fights? I get it Joe is a good up and coming prospect, but that fight would be a step up for Joyce and a step back for Miller.

If Miller doesn’t come through I hope Joyce can get a top contender in his next fight and win cause I’d like to see a 5-0 heavyweight contender. What a neat rare situation that would be. Maybe after that fight a few lower contenders and then get a shot at a title.

You don't need to be a hyped fighter to beat the likes of Miller. Miller is a nobody. Him ducking this fight is funny. And you defending him is even funnier.

Joyce is an avoided fighter and the more he wins the harder fights will be to get .


I would disagree as well bc Miller is not obligated to fight Joyce but Hughie Fury is and will not fight him if he should win against Sexton.

Would be early for Joyce but I like the attitude. They should try Chisora again. Duhaupas wouldn't be a bad opponent after that. Also random but maybe Marco Huck, he bring that 'old school' aka dirty cunt tactics that young guys can learn from facing but is small enough that Joyce would overpower him.

The way the Hearn/AJ/Wilder/DiBella talking has died down a bit makes me think they will announce that for the end of the year, Wilder taking Breazeale first and AJ facing Povetkin or Miller. If Povetkin gets the shot and then AJ-Wilder end up fighting more than once and then the winner fulfils mandatory commitments that'll take a while. During that time period either Joyce gets beaten or becomes a top contender who can get fights like this.
