    • Damn GGG is the King of of the sport, GGG now holds the record for the most watched fights in boxing on premium cable in the last couple years. A humble man from Kazakhstan outselling all these US american fighters in the USA. Think about it. Thats incredible.

People just cant deal with the facts and instead of prasing GGG and celebrate that many people watch boxing they hate and hate, just because GGG is a 100% clean and extremely exciting champion and more popular than then their favorite fighters.

Thats NSB in a nutshell. Jaelousy, hatred, very few real boxing fans. (And I really have to applaud the last remaining real boxing fans here, who actually contribute something outside of hating and trolling)

      • People complained about the fight but they still watched it. I love to watch GGG in action even against an over matched opponent. Apparently many others do as well.

        • Since this means he's a star then maybe it'll stop the obsession with Canelo.

I'm not saying that GGG doesn't have followership. However, in considering the numbers from this weekend, we have to take into consideration 1) Many fans were already expecting a fight on May 5 involving GGG 2) HBO provided a free preview over this past weekend allowing anyone with cable to watch HBO programming.
Nah what you need to take into consideration is this fight card was thrown together last minute with no promotion and GGG still did the numbers he usually does against week foes like Wade, Rubio etc

I did. What you need is to take into consideration that HBO was free this past weekend.
