lmao! He actually fought him!!! g just turned down a mandatory- against a bum with a dozen fights- to fight a retired guy on a losing streak moving up in weight!!! Jesus, g could literally fight a dwarf at this point and no one would notice anything different.

And that was why I knew he would blow Vanes out. Suks as we should of saw GGG Vs. Canelo instead.
Cant WAIT until Sept. hopefully no more bs drug cheating or tuneups.

After that fight I have the feeling Canelo will
not sign up to year round VADA testing even though Oscar promised to and will try to avoid GGG in September, he will face the glorious Spike O Sullivan.
Anyway, some of the people here are weird, they all claimed they hate GGG and would not be watching this fight and yet they are all here commenting.. Weird isnt it?

What set up that headshot from Ward was Kovalev's lazy jab and him switching stance right in front of Ward.
A blow to the nuts might affect Kovalev's ability to reproduce. A blow to the Vanes' head while he was down after he is already hurt could end his life.
So it's ok to hurt boxer if he's already down as long as it doesn't change the outcome of the fight? That's some boxing logic right there!
Its called a momentum Nd its very hard to stop punching an enemy when you are pent up with fight energy.
Nothing wrong with the knockout and i suggest you watch it again

If someone watches his fights (Ouma, Stevens, Monroe, Lemieux) he has always gotten hit some, but everyone does, it's boxing.
I guess my main point was that the gameplan of Canelo and Jacobs was what they did best...similar gameplan to Murray, except they hit harder and box a little better so they were able to go 12 rounds instead of 11.
I'd love to see someone actually try and trade with GGG, and hold the center of the ring, and try to beat him that way. I think the Canelo/Jacobs gameplan is good enough to go 12 rounds for them, but I feel like that's not the real way to beat the champ and take his belts.

Rematches with Canelo Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs ...Billy Joe Saunders ...Jermall Charlo ...Demetrius Andrade ...Sergey Dervyechenko ...Ryota Murata ...maybe Jarrett Hurd or Jermell Charlo moving up in weight down the road ...if GGG really wants to clean out the division, he's got his work cut out for him!
