Good thing you didn't boycott the fight....you have no idea how much that would have affected this website and the boxing world and most importantly golovkins mind...it would have derailed tonight's event completely..................Comment

That's my point. GGG is not old or past prime. His competition just got better. He got old and washed up overnight after the Jacobs fight. And some idiots even said he was "slipping" after the fight vs Brook. I kept telling ppl GGG is the same exact beast that was tearing through everyone but now this beast is facing opponents on a higher tier.Comment

Well, smart fighters do that. You don't up any of your opponents. GGG's answer was correct. Why make any of them special by singling one out?
I was a GGG critic but, after tonight, I don't see any of the guys in the division beating him. I'm not sold on Charlo, Andrade, or Derevyanchenko. The only one who will give GGG a headache is Canelo, because of his slick defensive style, or Saunders. I won't even pick Canelo or Saunders against him, either.
The only guy I could see beating Golovkin is Andre Ward. Dre is highly skilled, big, and slick.
Cong**** GGG. I'm done criticizing you!
[And, yes, I know it was a no hoper Vanes he crushed tonight.]
I see it going one of two ways: 1) Ward is too big and bullies GGG or 2) GGG is game and it turns into a great dog fight with only one guy still standing. Shame the big boxing fans never see the fights we really want sometimes.Last edited by Boxing-1013; 05-06-2018, 12:05 AM.Comment
