Thoughts, opinions?
I told y'all mfers PBC is gonna get plundered this year between Zuffa & Hearn coming to the states. Go look at the free agent boxers out there. There aren't any worth a damn EXCEPT Haymon guys who are affiliated with PBC.Comment

agreed I heard 2018 is the year that they need to "flip the model" whatever that means. I personally think that this is a way for haymon to begin managing ufc fighters. If you look online there are videos of Mayweather saying him and haymon want to do that. Are you suggesting this isn't an acquisition of Mikey so much as the beginning of some PBC/Zuffa merging situation? Or what are you suggesting exactly?
I've heard people saying that from the get go, but idk if that makes sense for Zuffa Boxing. Idk if that makes sense for PBC for that matter. I do think whatever PBC is these days is in a more fluid form that will re-find what it wants to be at some future date if it is to survive to at some point find a TV deal of some sort one day.Comment

awesome point people seem to forget tha they are still advised by haymon. Has anyone ever thought about the possibility of PBC selling part ownership with endeavor because remember they allegedly wanted caa to invest first while haymon still manages fighters and zuffa promotes events turning UFC from a mma company to a full fledged combat sports brandComment

having UFC buy into the PBC would incentivize fox to have to pay for pbc and shows built around it to build stars and create a wider fan baseComment

Mikey continues to shop for promoters to make his name bigger, but I have to wonder if having yet another promoter on the scene is going to make it any easier to get the fights that the fans want to see. Dana White hates Arum, so does that mean we won't get Loma/Garcia? Because that's really the only Garcia fight I care about over the next 12 months.Comment

Haymon has no say in Jacobs anymore I don't know how else to say this. sam watson Haymon's stooge who is present at all fights with Haymon fighters he was nowhere to be seen this last weekend after his fight Jacobs didn't thank Haymon like all Haymon fighters appear to be contractually forced to do. Khan another fighter who used to be with Haymon signed with Hearn and now it looks like Haymon has no say in who he fights either and has no association with PBC anymore. There is a clear difference in this and the other Haymon guys who have just signed with top rank and hearn who are leaving Haymon and the PBC bubble. So is this deal similar to those guys or is Dana White simply replacing guys like Lou Dibella in the sham promoter PBC bubble but Haymon still picks the fights?
Despite their beefs Haymon has worked with Top Rank and Golden Boy hell Mikey was close to signing to fight Linares early this year. But Dana been screaming for months that when he joins boxing he will flat out not work with either Arum (Top Rank) or Oscar (Golden Boy). If White NOT Haymon is calling the shots in Mikey's career does that effectively kill any fight with Loma/Linares winner? That's what I'm concerned about.Comment
