Do people realize Hopkins went from age 28-40 undefeated?

Thats cos most of his opposition were better than failed contender level jacobs.
you should already know the names of echols joppy tito holmes johnson, aquino, brown, DLH , Taylor.
I offered 10 names originally, now you have them, that are better than failed contender level jacobs.Last edited by DreamFighter; 05-03-2018, 06:49 AM.

It's funny but I think Hopkins would beat Golovkin in a shocking fashion. I'm not sure this record would even be an issue if Golovkin was fighting Canelo like originally planned. There's a good chance Canelo would've beat him in the rematch. It's almost a guarantee he'll beat Vanes so all of a sudden all of his fans and his media cheerleaders wanna bring up this record up.

Joppy was annihilated by Bute and Taylor.
His biggest win was against a late, late replacement in Jonathan Reid. 35-19
Tito has already been discussed to death
Holmes was at best C- level fighter.
Narrow win against Kuvonchbek Toygonbayev
McCracken, his best win, had been inactive for almost a year, and he was nothing special.
Glen Johnson had no good wins at MW.
Aquino. Yep, coming off an MD to Eduardo Gutierrez sure is a good look. Losing to Young **** Tiger afterwards.
Simon Brown? Are you serious now?
So how good is Mads Larsen?
DLH Not exactly a MW, was he?
Taylor?
He lost to Taylor. Twice.
Admit it, these are all just horrible.

Bute fought the retirement Joppy, dont lie.
You lie way too much.
Of course I am serious about multiweight titlist Simon Brown, are you about failed contender Danny Jacobs?
Yeh you just dont know how wrong you sound.

GGG has proven himself elite over the last 18 months or so.
But Bernard Hopkins is a level above, there is no doubt about it. He had a solid but unspectacular resume, obliterated Glenn Johnson, Tito, and Oscar. There are some solid guys in there too. Even the loss to a young, lightening Roy Jones was very competitive, 8-4 7-5 type decision. Extremely high speed, skilled chess.
I can't see a guy like Canelo giving Hopkins too many problems, he has too much size and skill.
I think Hopkins could have beat GGG a number of ways, outboxed him, and if he got aggressive, he would have ate him up.
